Great little dermatoscope
Works well. Magnification is about 27X's which takes a little getting used to after 10 X's Welch Allyn Dermatoscope. Wireless is great and the reduced resolution compared to the wired version has not proven to be a problem at all.

Impressive gadget
Useful device, great tool for sharing and discussing features of patients' skin lesions. It doesn't seem to show as much detail as my non-wireless dermatoscope, for example, peripheral dots are not well distinguished, and pigmented structures seem more homogenous. There is measuring tool which is very helpful in recording the measurements of lesions.

Pocket wireless dermatoscope.
Comes with special USB wireless adapter. Works well. Polarized light and focus excellent. Software easy and easily integrated into EHR.

No better than the Veho VMS-004D at £60
This is fine for taking a quick snapshot for size purposes only but is not adequate for diagnostic purposes at all (in my opinion as a GP with some experience of dermatoscopy and who has the Heine Delta 20 plus dermatoscope). A shame as it showed great promise from a user persepctive but I would be staggered if it is adequate medicolegally. Avoid, sorry...! Had high hopes.Really, it's a toy. No better than the Veho VMS-004D at £60

Good product
Very easy to use and look professional to patient! The transmitter gets very hot in short period of time so personally think this is better not plug in continuously. If the resolution of the picture can be higher enough for clear digital print out would be perfect.

I bought a cable version for $60 last year, advertised as a kids microscope. This is not a high quality medical device
I bought one of these with a cable for a little over $60 last year on ebay, advertised as a microscope. It is not designed as a dermatoscope and does not produce high quality images so please save your money and buy a good quality instrument
