FYI, the cover is not completely black. it's kind of grey. the letters and the ring is super shiny. The font size is absolutely readable and page quality is also good. There are few sketch illustration. Not mentioning total numbers. lol. but believe me you'll love it. Thought to buy the other paperback edition which comes under 1k during sale but I preferred this edition because of the cover impression.Loved it. Definitely recommended.

The outer box was torn, which was disappointing, but the 4 books inside arrived in good condition. It's a great set for fans of the series as well as new readers. Good value for money, especially if the set arrives intact.

Never did I think I would place a series of book higher than Harry Potter Series, but this eloquently crafted fascinating series prove otherwise. Read alongside Hobbit, this folks is so elaborate a world in its own. If you choose to read this, fear not, for reading would first begin with a pinch of caution, doubt, but soon you would be captivated, amazed, curious, and would soon not be able to put it down. It's not a one day read, certainly not and don't even try since if you do, you would only be spending hours skimming and revisiting and yes, as I said day would pass, but the story would not. This is a delicately crafted tale, and I for one is in awe and respect for the author and his fans. Movie do not do this book justice. Author and his son does. And respect and admiration, they have earned. Here's to Tolkiens, their books, their legacy. Adios!

I recently purchased the Lord of the Rings box set from uRead-Store, and I couldn't be happier! All 4 volumes have been brought together in this fine boxed set by Harper Collins. The set comprises the paperback versions of the books in a cardboard slip case. Harper C has produced here a set befitting this magnificent epic, of outstanding print quality, perfectly textured and tinted paper, impeccably proofread, and held together with sturdy spines. The paper even has that wonderful antiquarian smell that lend the bibliophile that extra character to make the reading truly memorable and invested with nostalgia for subsequent reads. Vol 1 (The Hobbit) has several evocative illustrations and maps in black and white, that perfectly complement the storyline and timeline with their antiquarian woodcut engraved quality. The other 3 volumes unfortunately are devoid of any visuals. An excellent and affordable edition that you will enjoy several times over, and will display handsomely on your bookshelf. My set arrived in excellent, brand new, well packed, shrink wrapped condition in just 3 days.

I wanted to buy this 4 books collection for a long time and now after I finally purchased it I can't say how happy I am and how amazing the covers of the all 4 books are. The printing quality & the pages are really good too. And for the stories, you already know that it is the best fantasy story ever written.

Just go for it! Very very good language with some little bit of illustrations only in the hobbit there is not a single illustration in the lord of the rings trio books but they have some maps little bit blurry but good quality the box got damaged due to poor packaging of cocoblu
