This product is quite good and on joining the wires and LED after pressing by finger shows glowing of LED, due to energy produced by the pressing .This works on mechanism that this plates converts mechanical stress into electrical energy ,this plates are delivered in small plastic box means safety of product kept in mind by seller nice product .I will definitely suggest this product for science project.

it produces less than 1 volt . we could not use it even to light LED .
