Are they water proof?

No, not water proof. And the stitching fell apart within 3 weeks. Not the quality of the 80's docs that I remember.

No these are not waterproof. If you want to waterproof then please spray a water proofer on them. Thanks

You would get a 4 UK. It's 2 sizes smaller for a woman, 1 size for a man. Hope this helps!
