Do these have a thin elastic running along the top of the waistband which can create a muffin top? Or just one thick band?

There is a wide waistband on these shorts, however, the band is very giving and does not create a muffin top it's a nice smooth transition.

Does this style come in a longer version than the 3" inseam? I have two pair & love them, but wish they were a tad longer.

Is there a string to tighten waist band?

no, we don't have string on this style.

What are the waist sizes? Sizing guided based off of weight doesn’t seem correct.
