It's a good one..but there is a vibration in the lower three notes. Without that this product is awesome...that may be due to the B scale recorder.

I played one of these for several years in elementary school. I purchased this one for my daughter, and was a bit apprehensive due to it being clear but Yamaha really came through.The embochure has a nice curve to it so it fits more comfortably in the mouth, and the joints do not stick. Great quality sound, as well.My daughter loves it, much nicer than the brown merangue one I had.
