Will two or more of these nest together tightly for compact storage when collapsed?

Yes and no. Great answer, right? They do not nest....but when collapsed they are so thin that you can put them side by side and obtain compact storage very close to if they did nest. Get these. A hundred uses. Well made. We had two and a friend was so taken with them, we gave one to her. I know this sounds like I work for the company, but I don't. I just believe in recommending good products on this community.

Has anyone put boiling water in them?

Yes, maybe not a roiling boil, but I routinely pour hot water from the pot on my tent’s wood stove for bathing and add cold water to suit. The plastic is durable and the silicone sidewalls can more than take the heat

Is is dishwasher safe?

They are safe to put in the dishwasher, says so right in the description.
