Nikon Speedlight SB - 700

Nice flashlight

This is one of the great flash from Nikon. I am just loving this one. The results are really great. If you want to get good results for indoor photography one must go for this flash. You will see drastic changes in the results. Earlier i was using the inbuilt flash and was not at all satisfied with the image results. But now since i have started using this flash, i must say i should have purchase this long back.My recommendation is .... go for it.

Very good flash for indoors - best for small family portraiture , can also be used as fill flash in sunny outdoors overall a nice flash..i am satisfied and plan to upgrade to sb 900s in future to enable master slave off camera flash combinations..

I bought this item on 2nd March’2023 @Rs.24,400/= from Amazon. At that time in the grey market and Nikon Authorised Stores in Kolkata I found it between Rs.20,500/= to Rs.22,000/=, but all of them was “Made in China”. So, when I found in Amazon’s product details page, country of origin : JAPAN, instantly I ordered it. But, when the SB 700 reached to me I found it is also a China product !!Anyway, with great displeasure I started using it. Surprisingly I found, though China product, it is working well and the result of photography is excellent. I am using the flashgun with my Nikon D7000 and overwhelmed with its wonderful performances. I am using high power(eneloop pro) rechargeable batteries, which also bought from Amazon and can snap 130-160 shots without any interruption. Results of both indoor and outdoor photography’s are brilliant. The product also received with two years warranty. The only thing I have to say to Amazon, that they may withdraw the erroneous “Country of Origin Column” from the product details page, so that customers should not be misguided.Every professional/amateur photographer may go for it without any doubt. Excellent product !!!

The Nikon SB-700 is a superb medium-sized flash for use on all modern Nikon i-TTL DSLRs.Unlike other flashes, the SB-700 is only designed for current, not older cameras. Nikon calls these the cameras compatible with Nikon's Creative Lighting System (CLS). These cameras are all DSLRs except the D1 series and the D100. The F6 is also CLS compatible and works with the SB-700. With any other 35mm camera, you won't get much to work with the SB-700.The SB-700 offers these features over the SB-600 (the SB-900 already has most of these)

I personally used first time a OFF Camera Speed light Flash in my new Photo Studio!!Got amazing light effects and results!!... Fun to work with!.. Now i start playing with the light effects!!Loved it!!..

Der gute 'alte' Nikon Mittelklasse-Blitz macht auch auf den neuen Z-Systemen was er soll. Auf meiner Z5 funktioniert alles wie gewollt. Leider kam auch meiner mit einer spanischen Bedienungsanleitung. Da diese kleinen Nikon Minibücher ohnehin keiner liest, vergebe ich 5 Stars. Die Anleitung lädt man sich bei Nikon direkt als pdf herunter. Alles gut.

excellent résultat avec mon D610 et mon D80, quelque soit l'optique associée.les accessoires sont impeccables.

Compratelo senza se e senza ma se siete come me dei "semplici" appassionati di fotografia non professionisti ma vi assicuro che questo flash è a prova anche di professionisti. Certamente chi ha esigenze diverse si orienterà verso il fratello maggiore ma "suo fratello" fa il suo sporco dovere. Utilizzato per scattare foto amatoriali ad una festa ha svolto egregiamente il suo dovere incrementando notevolmente la qualità finale delle fotografie. Lo schermo non è touch (meglio, così consuma meno) ma i menu sono intuitivi e di facile apprendimento ed online si trova il manuale in italiano (mi è arrivato il manuale tedesco e francese). Very nice speed light light. Fits my Nikon D7000 perfectly. Used it for the first time with excellent results. Settings on the back are easy to use and display looks okay. Haven't had a chance to use all the setting most likely won't need most of them. Like the switch for standard, center and wide flash. Had a Chinese brand after my Nikon flash of 20 years plus finally died, the Chinese lasted less than a year and was garbage. Get the Nikon, good price at Amazon $70 cheaper than in a store.
