How would this attach to an oc1? years ago i had a garmin that strapped on the iaku. this looks like it needs to be mounted.

Yes it does...does your oc 1 have a hood like on Kahele or Ehukai...if so its easier but it co.es with everything you need to mount and it will slide out of that mount after workout. My friend has a Pueo and mounted it in front of foot pedals...hope this helps.
