Does what it is advertised to do at a fair price and good quality!
I guess the DIYS can now be called a bricklayer (ha, ha ,ha) (helper yes). The tool made loading one pallet of brick quick, safe, and easy. Same with the unload, then the haul up to the roof (not so easy), then the laying of the brick which a real Union Bricklayer did.Great tool at a fair price!

Buy it
This thing is awesome had a bunch of bricks left over from house construction and ordered this so I could move them all down to the shed it worked great I moved over 700 bricks within a couple hours having to make a few trips do to weight can’t imagine how long it would have taken without this thing. Plan to use it later when I use the bricks for drive way columns so feel like it is well worth the money.

It's the perfect tool for installing large pavers.
Well made, and steal for the price. Probably the best value for the money I’ve ever gotten from a tool.Only downside? It came without the original box, and therefore the grip wasn’t included. Fortunately I have one laying around, so no foul from Goldblatt, just an oversight on Amazon's part.

Great product and effective hand saver
I don't know what one of these sells for when buying a "professional" level, but this one is perfect for my weekend project. Carrying bricks is not a fun task, but these "tongs" allowed me to carry 6 or 7 bricks at a time just holding the handle. I've seen professional bricklayers using something like this and I can certainly see why!Picking up several bricks at a time by hand will take a toll on your hands over the course of a day, especially if you don't do this for a living. This tools shows why the guys that do it for a living use them.

Time to move bricks? Here's your tool.
Need to move some bricks? Prefer to keep fingers and toes in good condition? Here's your tool. The ends are solidly welded together. Should last a long, long time.At the short setting, as received, the tongs grabbed six bricks nicely. At the extended setting the tongs solidly grabbed eleven bricks. If you're carrying that many, you'll want two tongs to keep the load even.Note: One tong with 11 bricks weighs about 60 pounds. But you knew that already, right? The adjusting bolt has a wingnut to make size changes easy. However, the other end of the bolt is a hex head that's not very large. It can be tough to hold without pliers or a wrench. I would prefer a larger head or different configuration so no tool is needed. But the tongs are still excellent.

The $20 dollars i have spent in a long time.
I have a large patio project requires moving a lot of paving stones off the pallet. I was moving them by hand a few at time; which means you pick each one up, carry them in two arms usually awkwardly, and then then stack them on the ground. Doing all this with out pinching or banging your fingers or dropping them potentially on your foot. Move enough of them and it will happen. I was trying to carry 6 to 8, but that ended up being difficult and tiring. With the brick tongs, i walk over to the pallet and pick up either 4 (as they are stacked on top of each other) or 8 the odd ones that at the end of each row. It is as simple as walk over slide one end over and then the other and then lift the handle and easily carry them and lay them down with little effort. With the tongs i picked up the same number, but i didn't have to lift each one. I could carry them with ease and easily stack them on top of each other. The time saving was in not having to man handle them and the effort was that i haven't dropped any or banged up any fingers. Much easier in 95 degree or higher. One tip, it usual to grab things in the middle, but you need to keep in mind that most paving stones have a spacer tab on each side. So i grabbed them between the nibs so they don't pivot on it. Even when i didn't and it tilted they didn't fall off. Great tool.

Size adaptability
By allowing the dliding arm to slip be the butt end of the opposing claw, the tool would have been made a lot more iseful. As it is desined, only a small number of settings are allowed, and the tool is useless for smaller stone dimensions.

Easiest way to move bricks!
I used this to move 750 bricks. The tool worked flawlessly. I was able to carry 10 bricks at a time, and neatly stacking them was a breeze since they were already tightly packed together. The tool is adjustable, so you can set it up to carry smaller loads.
