BG CF5 Fuel System Treatment

This product is better for long term storage as it has anti corrosion ingredients in it. The BG 44 K is a great product but not good for long term storage as it is more highly concentrated than the CF5 and doesn't have the same anti corrosive ingredients so it is better for cars being used frequently. This product is made to maintain the clean of th BG 44 K. Recommended to use every 3000 miles. BG 44 K recommended use is roughly every 7,500 miles. Can't go wrong using this stuff as needed.

I have been using BG products since 1988 and never been disappointed by them. From fuel additives and oil additives along with transmission additives. They are more than the stuff from your local Walmart or Auto Supply but they work great.

The independent mechanic where I get my vehicle serviced recommends BG products, so I decided to give 3 different ones a try -- 44K Platinum Fuel System Cleaner, CF5 Fuel System Cleaner, and MOA Engine Oil Supplement.The 44K is a "deep" cleaner, while the CF5 is more of a maintenance product. Consequently, I use 44K once a year, and the CF5 at every oil change. These products are supposed to fight the adverse effects that can be caused by the ethanol added to gasoline, as well as other “crud” that can foul fuel systems. It is hard to offer an objective opinion as to the effectiveness of the fuel system cleaners as I have never gathered data regarding changes in performance. There did appear to be a slight improvement in mileage when I began using them, but that is a subjective observation.I can say that the MOA Engine Oil Supplement does appear to have had a positive effect as I am no longer adding approximately half a quart of oil between changes. My repair shop says that it has seen engines burning large amounts of oil being "cured" by using this product.I have been using these products for a little over one year. Based on my mechanics recommendation, and my experience with the MOA product, I do recommend trying BG products. By the way, BG products are only available at professional repair shops, and here on Amazon from authorized re-sellers. One will not find them in the large auto parts stores.

Used this in my jeep. It was consuming to much oil. 1 quart evert 4000 miles.Only have 1000 miles since I used it. Oil burn slowed down.My milage increased by 2 miles per gallon. Good stuff!

The dates on three cans I purchased was 2013, they were 7 years old.

Used this product after a couple of fuel fill ups using the BG 44K product. Acceleration is smoother and engine runs smoother as well. Haven't noticed and extreme increase in miles per gallon as I have been doing a good bit of towing a boat lately but I will continue to use the products alternately. I plan to get another 100,000 miles out of my 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser so anything and everything I can do to take care of the engine including fuel efficiency and internal parts cleaning I will do. Toyota dealership would always use these products when performing oil change services at the needed intervals before I started performing the service myself.
