These locks are useful if a person to travel as they wont set off most airport security scanners

The locks work perfectly in terms of snapping shut and staying secure, which is fantastic. However, the main reason I purchased these is for the unique ID numbers on each lock. I hoped that they would stay quite visible, however after only a day of being used on my chastity device, the numbers faded and can no longer be recognized. I put a new one on and same issue. This time, before they became too illegible, I put a small piece of clear scotch tape to laminate the print, and that seems to fix it. Overall it works great as a lock, but if you want it as an identifier, you're going to need to either add some tape or look somewhere else.

Some of the supposed locking mechanisms don't lock, and while you're trying to push the little shaft in to lock them, the numbers rub off. (The numbers rub off if you're hands are wet, which is a no-no.)It probably wouldn't matter, because several of the supposed unique numbers are duplicated, in the set I got.It would also be nice if they didn't break so easily. The material used is not very tough and a few bends is all it takes to break it.

These are decent locks for chastity devices, bought two boxes of them, so far only three have failed to lock. Numbers rub off after a few days of use but they serve their intended purpose

Don't bother! Read the other reviews, i slipped up and didn't. They break, the prong won't insert into the lock on half of them, the numbers wipe right off from sweaty fingers or any other moisture, and they're way overpriced. Do a search at Amazon for safety seals and buy them for 1/3 the price and a lot better quality.

While the idea is nice, the manufacturing process seems to be inconsistent. I can't get about half of mine to lock at all.

As stated before, you get five pair of locks, or at least that was what I received. Ample chance to snip and replace, if you are the naughty type.

Many of the locks simply won't lock, completely defective. Others have mentioned that numbers aren't unique, this isn't a concern for me but the fact half of them are broken is ridiculous. Should have paid attention to the reviews instead of assuming you can't mess something like this up.
