Professionally Refurbished with Support
Wasn't sure what to expect but the seller I got this from does a fantastic job. The tower looks mint (I imagine that could change from unit to unit) and works great. Anyone buying this will probably get you'll need to update your bios and run a Windows update.Main this is that the packaging was professional and they included a brand new keyboard, mouse, and usb wifi which I was not expecting. They also included a helpful set of papers with Windows license and support info. Hope this seller is still around when I'm ready to upgrade.

Good deal on solid hardware for home use.
So I understood exactly what I was buying and made sure to get at least the 685w power supply for this (going to add a graphics card when I can finally get my hands on one). 2020 being 2020 has changed how I work and I got really tired of working from a laptop. Ryzen 5000 and 3000 series stuff almost vaporware at the moment so my plan is to use this short term as a workstation then after I get a new desktop built this will be a OpenXen or Proxmox server at home. Contacted the seller to verify the PSU and they said it would be the ~800w got the 685. Not a big deal since I don't need higher than the 685. Was listed with a quadro k420, came with the k620 so that would be a slight bonus. Only complaint would be the tabs that hold in expansion cards was missing on the top PCIE-16 slot, where a video card would go. I'm familiar enough with Dell hardware to know you can pop the little bracket out and move them around but a less familiar buyer might not know this. Now to hunt down a e5-2680 v3 but that's another story.Edit: a few more things to note after using this for a while, Sata was set to raid not ACHI in the bios (not a big deal since I added a PCIE NVME card + drive), Hyperthreading was turned off in the bios and the audio was turned off in the bios. Again none of these are problems if you know where to look for these things but they can be if you don't. Also had no problem adding an NVME SSD and some extra USB 3.0 ports via PCIE cards and a Radeon 5500xt for some light gaming but if you have a better video card 2 6 to 8 pin adapters and the 685 or 800w PSU should be good depending on your card. Just be aware that depending on the exact card the side panel might bump up against the power connector. The only negative which isn't the fault of the seller by any means is Dell locks down the bios so with a e5- 2678 v3 you don't get boost speeds without some modification, not a big deal to me but again something to be aware of.TLDR if you have a good use for this kind of hardware and don't mind some potential DIY to get everything how you want it these are great second hand machines with solid enterprise hardware.

So far so good with Windows 11
I bought this to replace my dying HP 8540 workstation that does not have a TPS. The Amazon ad originally said the workstation was Windows 11 compatible, but now I see that phrase was removed. I really like this computer as it is the same one I used at work for many years. Very powerful and dependable. The only reason this PC was not in the Dell list of computers that can be upgraded to Windows 11 is 51% (or more) of the time Windows 11 was installed on this computer model, it would crash. I was able to get Windows 11 installed, but had to go through some hoops to get it to work. So, despite what a fantastic computer this is for Windows 10, I would not recommend this for Windows 11. I would recommend a computer that has passed testing by Dell. They are about the same price, re-furbished as this one was.

As described, but.. cheaply refurbished
I removed 1 star... well because.. the seller would have purchased a "lot" of recycled computers... no hard drives... and i got a scratched up computer.. that had the cheapest ssd anyone could find... they didn't replace the drive caddy that was junked when the original hdd was removed... 'beyond that.. It isn't their fault this is the base model.. for a 4 core.. it multitasks amazing.. was running a simple browser stress test at 100% and it was still able to browse the web on another window... I will be using this as an application server.. hosting 3 application clients.. and in testing it has performed well for that purpose...

It says the item looks like new. But when I got it, there are white lines and dents at the back side.

It came in great condition, clean with just a minor scratch. The communication has been outstanding. I had some questions that were answered the same day.I will buy from this company again.
