Just set it up. Still need to fluff and arrange branches before decorating. Loved that it came with lights already on. However, there were a couple places that didn’t have much lights. All in all it was pretty simple to assemble. It didn’t come with directions. But I watched a video about setting it up. The only thing I do not care for is that it looks fuller on the top portion of the tree, more than the bigger lower part. I plan to spend a little more time adjusting branches. Hopefully that will help. Other than that, I love the tree. It’s the perfect size. Not too big, not too small. I also like the stand and how easy it is to put together. Great tree at a reasonable price. Especially since I will have for many years. I definitely recommend this tree.

I bought this tree on Black Friday of 2016 as it was a little lower in price than what it usually goes out for. I received the tree on Sunday, two days later which is a pretty impressive delivery speed. The tree came in a huge box. Delivery was prompt with no damages to the box. My cat was initially more excited than my husband or myself! When opening the box, we saw the tree all compressed inside the box and looking shabby. I had already read numerous reviewing warning about this so we didn't panic just yet. Taking it out of the box and assembly was easy peasy, anyone could do it without reading the instructions. However the lights were totally another issue. The lighting just wouldn't work on one section of the tree. We spent an inordinate amount of time figuring out what was wrong, including pulling out and replacing the fuses of the problematic section, which was an ordeal to say the least. In the end, our problem with a section boiled down to ONE lamp missing which was easily taken care of with the numerous extra lamps and fuses the company provides in little sachets. However this task took us a long time to resolve.The fluffing also takes a great amount of time, which is another thing I read in reviews so I was prepared. Trust me and the other reviewers when we say the fluffing takes a long time, it REALLY takes a long time. I would suggest you have no other activity planned for several hours when you decide to assemble and setup this tree because it does take up a good chunk of time. Fluffing took a solid hour for me and I'm still not fully done, about 20% left. At the end, however all the hard labor bears fruit because when all the steps have been accomplished, the tree looks SPECTACULAR and almost real. When in full sunlight, you can tell this is an artificial tree but when it starts getting dark, this tree looks like a real tree whether lit or unlit!I'm attaching 5 different pictures of the tree from the time we received it in a box to complete setup, although as I mentioned before, I still have some fluffing left. I also took a picture of the hinges holding the branches, which is interesting. Overall this turned out to be a great tree for the price I paid and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an artificial but well-made tree and definitely get it if it's on sale! 5 stars.EDIT: 12/03/2016: I'm attaching a picture with my fully decorated Christmas tree. This is the first pre-lit tree that we’ve ever owned. It’s an auxiliary tree to handle ornament overflow from our main tree.The tree itself is very nice and was quick to assemble. My issue is with the lights. Because of where they were placed by the manufacturer there are some areas where the lights are buried toward the center of the tree and can’t be moved outward because of how the cord is run. The result is that some spots are effectively dark. Still for the price it works. Buying an unlit tree and lights, and then stringing them myself would have been more expensive and taken longer to set up.I have no idea if a taller version would have the same issue.

A few years ago we purchased an artificial tree from a large chain store that we were never happy with. The branches were sparce at the bottom and then super bushy at the top. We ended up giving that one away on Craigslist last year with the intent on purchasing a nice pre-lit tree this year. I cannot be more happy with the National tree 7.5 foot pre-lit north valley spruce tree. It went together very nicely and after an hour prepping the tree it is by far my favorite Christmas tree we've ever owned. The size and shape of or is perfect.The only issue I had is that I received this with 2 broken bulbs. I easily found one as one large strand of lights was out and the broken bulb was easily noticeable. When removing the bulb it did shatter in my hand though giving me a nice cut. After replacing this bulb with one of the 30 replacement bulbs this comes with my strand still would not light up and I guess this is why they recommend keeping the tree lit as you work on it so that you don't get to the very end and then find a strand out. But I digress. I could not find out why the tree would not light so I went to another large retail store. The one that starts with a W and purchased a Light Keeper Pro. After about 2 minutes I was able to track down the exact bulb causing the issue and found that bulb was broken too. I replaced that one and now every light stays lit. I highly recommend that anyone who has Christmas light purchase a Light Keeper Pro to help diagnose your bulb issues.I rate the tree 5 stars and the experience with the bulbs a 4 but since I could not rate a 4.5 stars I decided to go with the higher rating since I do feel that I got my money's worth on this purchase. I am just glad that I got this before it was sold out. Shipping was fast too.
