Terrific fit/design & great protection, perfect for my XR
I’m a huge fan of Spigen cases due to their quality and durability. It doesn’t hurt that they have a bunch of cool designs, as well.Anyway, I bought this for my iPhone XR a couple of days before I got the phone, and wanted to have some time with them both so I could leave a legit review. I upgraded from a 6S with a similar Spigen case, so I knew I wanted to go this route. The case has a good feel to it and is strong, but just pliable enough you won’t worry about breaking/bending your phone trying to get it out and put it in. I dropped my 6S with the similar Spigen case several times and it definitely did its job. This case, IMO, is pretty thin for its overall cushion and protection. There are thinner cases out there, but they won’t protect your new phone like this one will.I love this case so far and highly recommend it!Update 12.12.18: I still stand behind my initial review of this case. I’ve even ad a few mishaps while working on the Jeep and the case has protected my XR perfectly. For this saying it’s thicker than previous Spigen cases, the XR is bigger and thicker than the iPhone 6-8, so they had to adjust accordingly if you still expect the level of protection Spigen provides. As for the case being slick: it isn’t grippy, but I’ve never had an issue with it. That includes hands that are wet, dirty, greasy, etc.

Amazing value case!
I was looking for a case to throw onto my phone as soon as it did come out. I was looking at the $50 Pitaka case, but it was hard to pull the trigger. I looked around for other, cheaper, case brands that did not look too thick or outright ugly. When I finally came across Spigen's lineup, I knew I had found one that fits most of my needs.Case: This "liquid air" whatever the name case is actually really nice. The back provides some grip while not making it so grippy your pocket comes out with the phone. It strikes a nice grip balance for the already pretty large and not so pocket-friendly iPhone XR. The material is this flexible plastic that is about a coin thick on the back of the phone and about one and a half coins thick around the sides. This creates enough of a lip for the camera so it does not lie directly on a flat table and the same lip for the screen. Did I forget to mention, this case is really easy to put on and off the phone, so no scuffs or scratched upon installation. I am impressed with the buttons! They have a bit of an air gap on either side of the button which makes button presses not stiff at all - the bane of cheap cases everywhere. I am however a little skeptical of long-term life for the buttons because of that. The inside corners have a little of the plastic cut out, about the size of one of those small circular sprinkles we all eat. I assume this helps a little bit with impact protection, as advertised, but if I'm being honest I do not see how it will help very much at all. But I am careful with my devices, so I am not bothered.Wireless charge: yes, it still works. electromagnetic induction can work through plastic, leather, glass, and pretty much anything except metal. The thin plastic structure to the back (about one coin thick) means the phone can get closer to the wireless charge point and have a more efficient charge. If only my other electrical engineering courses were this easy :,)Magnetic car mounts: so I am a huge fan of magnetic car mounts. The case is not too thick and as a result, you can tape a metal plate to the inside back of the case and use the magnetic mount! Just remember, wireless charging does not work through this metal plate.Overall, this case is an amazing value - at $17 when I purchased! It easily rivals more premium brands like tech21 at less than half the price. I approve!

Excellent looks and even better protection.
Since buying my iPhone XR on launch day, I’ve tried pretty much all the brand name cases that have come out for it.From the Caudabe Synthesis and Incipio Feather to the Otterbox Vue and Totallee Scarf, I’ve tried them all but always found myself coming back to the Spigen Liquid Air.This case provides great protection while still being very thin. It’s has slightly raised edges that protect your screen and don’t interfere with the phone’s gestures interactions at all. The back also provides protection to the camera module, so you can confidently lay it down on its back without worrying about it getting scratches. At first I felt like it was kinda slippery but after a few days of constant use, I noticed that it started to get more grippy.Cutouts are precise and I love the slightly raised covers for the volume and side buttons. They are really clicky, easy to press and provide great feedback.I’m not a fan of the patterned design on the back but I can see how many people would actually like it. It’s worth mentioning that the flexible TPU material in this case looks very good and doesn’t feel cheap at all.Lastly, this case is very easy to put on and off, unlike other cases, like the Otterbox Vue, which was both difficult to install and almost impossible to take off.Only downside I could find is that this case attracts lint and dust like crazy, specifically around the edges of the screen, but a quick wipe down will easily take care of this.Overall, I’d say this is one of the best cases you could get for your phone. For the price, this case can’t be beat, honestly.

Fits well
Not the grippiest cover I have felt but that’s ok as it’s still grippy enough and is easy to get in and out of pocket. Fitment is very good and I like the feel of the buttons. Size and thickness is great with enough to seem protective but not bulky at all. Overall quality seems good and would recommend.
