This is an amazing product, safe and easy to use. After years of trying everything else for my 14 year old son who would wet the bed at least four nights a week. We tried all sort of things like limiting fluid intake, waking him up at night but nothing worked. We finally bought this alarm at the recommendation of his pediatrician. The doctor said that this particular alarm was a good one to have and we tried it as our last attempt. I am amazed to get the results so quickly. My son used this alarm for 15 days and he is no more bedwetting. Setting up the alarm was easy. It does have 3 settings and we chose the one with sound and vibration. Just pressed the button in the middle till we got what we wanted. Next, we just placed the mat flat on the bed and connected it to the alarm which was on the table stand. It came with a stand to place it upright. Nothing else was required. There is no on/off switch, so there was no confusion. When the mat is connected its on. When removed its off.The mat is so comfortable. My son could not even feel it when he slept on it. Its just like sleeping on a bed sheet. The mat is also large. It's about 2 feet wide and 2.5 feet long and very comfortable. Since its cotton, its breathable and super soft.The very first night, he wet the bed, the alarm went off. I went over and was surprised to see how much he had wet. The mat and the bed were soaking. I woke him up and he used the bathroom to clean up. Then he went to sleep.We washed the mat in the washer as the instructions said and line dried it. It takes a bit to dry out but hes not wetting more than once a night. The same process repeated for 3 more nights and then he just woke up on his own one night and used the bathroom. I was thrilled. The next few days he woke up and then magically he stopped wetting the bed. Like his brain and bladder finally connected and stopped him from bedwetting. It's been several weeks now and hes not wet the bed. Amazing. We have put the system aside and safely placed it in case he ever needs it, but more than likely he wont. I did contact the company initially for quick tips and advice on using the system and they were very courteous and helpful.He is a more confident boy and we are happy parents now. Our only regret is not purchasing earlier.In my opinion it is a five-star product.

Purchased on 10/5/2021 and it stopped working on 12/15/2021. Alarm works but no longer sounds when the mat gets wet. Too expensive to replace. It’s worth noting that I have been extremely careful with handling & washing this mat before it stopped working.

The first time we bought this, we were blown away on how well it worked! It worked so well that both our boys were trained to stop wetting the bed. Well it did for one. The other went back to wetting the bed. We initially failed to note that we can't put this in the dryer after washing -it's supposed to be line dry for longer use. Our bad! Since it worked so well initially, we decided to purchase another one. And we were keeping in mind to not dry in the drier. However, it didn't work AT ALL! Just based on the reviews, it seems this product is a hit and miss -it either works great or doesn't at all. We spend $200 in total and not interested in investing in this any longer. Now to find something else that's reliable!

I gave it an extra star because it did work and helped our child at first, but knocked off three stars because it stopped working after less than a month! It is supposed to last through 300 washes, however, it lasted through maybe 20-25 washes before quitting. We were within the one-month Amazon return time frame, so we exchanged it for a new one. By this time, it had helped our child, so we were going multiple days, even weeks, between washes rather than daily washes (we carefully followed the cleaning instructions, and we also let it air dry without washing when the wet spots were small to try to extend the replacement's lifespan). But again, the replacement lasted through maybe 20-30 washes. Unfortunately, we are now outside the 90-day warranty period and Amazon's return window, so we can't return it, even though it has failed to live up to it's 300 washes promise.The product does seem to work but only briefly. We will be trying a different brand.

It's difficult to write this review because the pad works very, very well, that is, until it stops working.My son was having a lot of success with this pad and had progressed to the point that he had gone 29 days straight without an accident. On day 30 he did have an accident and shortly thereafter the pad stopped functioning. Customer service was very helpful and replaced the pad, but then the new one stopped functioning. After that yet another replacement pad stopped functioning. I was super-gentle about washing the pad; I washed it flat by hand using a gentle spray from the shower and I let it drip dry flat. No wringing. I cannot understand why the pads have not held up better. So, bottom line is that if you are VERY gentle with the pad and your child manages to stop having accidents soon after you buy this, you will probably want to give it 5 stars. If your child cannot stop very shortly after you begin using the pad (a few weeks to a month or so), then the pad will probably stop working and you will be unhappy with the purchase. Likewise, if you do not intend to take the time to wash the pad gently and by hand, and the time to let it dry flat, you will be unhappy because it will stop functioning sooner rather than later. We are roughly 9 months into this because the pads keep malfunctioning. I gave 4 stars because customer service was helpful, the pad is comfortable for a child to lie on, and it works well at the beginning. Customer service, if you can help me again I would appreciate it and would try to leave an updated review if possible.
