Best book on selling
This is the best book I've read on selling so far and has lessons that apply in life and not just sales. I plan on buying more from the author.Motivational, inspiring, informative and practical.

BEST BUSINESS INVESTMENT I HAVE EVER MADE
If you are struggling in anyway in sales or in life for that matter read or listen to this book. I have been in sales all my life. That's over 50 years, and I must have read 6 dozen or more sales books and programs over that time. It's probably more than that. . That aside, here is what you need to know.I found MORE successful ACTIONABLE information in this book than all the rest combined, PERIOD!!!Not only was it actionable, it was EASY!!!!I can't stress the above enough. If you have been looking for the way out of whatever has you trapped in life.I personally like the audio book because Grant really animates the material and makes it incredible fun.Every other sales book I have ever read have been mostly helpful and I would get a good tip here and there but this is different. I have over doubled my income using this book and my wife who has never really sold anything is a crazy selling machine now. If she keeps this up I'm going to be a kept man LOLRead or listen to these also..The 10x Rule: The Only Difference Between Success and FailureBe Obsessed or Be AverageHow to Get and Stay MotivatedI you were looking for a hand up. Here it is.The above is true :)

A Great Sales Book
This is one of the better sales books I have read. Great info but a few negatives that keep it from a 5.I am a fan of Grant and his over the top style. It's who he is. To some that may be annoying and I hope they will get past it and enjoy this book. But if you don't know who Grant is I would suggest watching some of his videos on YouTube before buying this book to get a feel for his style. I believe some will not enjoy this book due to his style. Also Grants religion and it's influence on his writing should not be used as a negative for this book. But clearly a few reviews have. He clearly hints at it if you know but is not open about it like Zig Ziglar was. No man can create a great book without things like his religion seeping through. I do appreciate that Grant keeps it to the background. But be aware that it is there and if you dislike it please avoid this book. My religious faith is different from his but it did not change my enjoyment of the book.I honestly think Grant could in time be one of the great sales and motivational trainer of our time. But he has work to do before he can fill the shoes of greats like Zig. But you can see him evolving as he goes.

Greatest book on sales in the 21st century.
Over the years I have read or listened to a plethora of sales books and this one is the most comprehensive to today's challenges salespersons face. I have three reasons why salespersons should buy this audiobook to increase their sales.First, Grant does a very good job of setting the foundation for being a sales professional and not an amateur. Professionals train and work every aspect of their career and "immerse themselves" in training material. He mentions the power of prediction and it totally changed my sales approach. This section is worth the price of the book alone.Second, the author notes how "people knowledge" is more important than "product knowledge" in selling. Again, this is an issue few sales trainers cover in seminars or in their literature and Grant is 100% correct. People knowledge is far more important than product knowledge. Companies do a fairly good job training sales staff product knowledge but FAIL at teaching people knowledge.Third, the real value of this book comes from his selling process. The five-step cycle is practical to nearly any industry in almost every context. So many sales trainers ignore time in a sales cycle and Grant highlights the importance of short sales cycles to serve customers better and make their experience more convenient. If you can ignore the author's Dianetics references, this book is a must for salespersons new or 50 years in the business.

A sales classic!
Love this book! As a company CEO I'm not only the leader over the sales team, but I am always "selling" in one way or another – whether I need to sell a big account on working with my company, or "sell" a potential employee on why they should join my team, everything I do is really about persuasion and getting people aligned to a purpose.Grant really helps you understand how "sales skills" are vital to anyone in today's world, whether they have "sales" in their title or not. In this book he really breaks down the key skills, traits, and *disciplines* that make a great salesperson. Many people think that great salespeople are just "born that way". While there certainly are some people with some innate talent, the truly great performers are disciplined and committed. They make sales a profession and treat it as such, and they study and learn from the greats. And GC is absolutely one of the greats. Highly recommended!
