A staple at all New York City bagel shops. Great espresso coffee flavor and followed up with the sugar.

The price has come down a fair bit from where it used to sit (used to see it at $6-7 a bottle). It's a shame these folks never decided to sell directly. But the Manhattan Special folks are notoriously hard to get a hold of (if yaknowwhatimean) so we gotta settle for middlemen.My favorite beverage, when you think "coffee soda" you may think to yourself, whoa gross. But even though it is what it is, the smoothness of the whole thing makes for a pretty suave experience. It helps they use champagne yeast when making the thing, so the bubbles are extra tiny.

after gradyouwaiting high school in 1966,and a year b4 the army took me i used to drive a yellow cab in nyc ny.it was a fun job ept for the hold ups and people having sex in the back. i drove a 'checker' which had tons of space in the back. well,around 2 in the moring me and maybe 7 or 8 other cabies would hang out by the west side piers around 48th street,we passed around a joint,had our sandwhichs,and drank 'manhatten special' i added cream to mine,i loved the stuff and so did many ny s . it (the espresso varity) is slightly sweet,i think they make a diet varity too. im not sure. it is a superior drink. if you like coffee. you will love this stuff. its been around 4ever and has a cult status. shipping is expensive,so i would check for local distribuer in your area. its great stuff,and im sure there are coffee soda around that are good,but im review ing this one. peace out...............o,by the way,i still inhale...........stop putting people in jail for drugs,help em, dont jail em.love you chicken woman

One was broken, the rest were flat. Spend a lot of money on trash.

This threw me way back. I remember drinking them in New York and loving them. I’m glad I got a chance to taste them again though they’re a little pricey so I won’t be able to buy them often. Still good to know they’re around.

The soda is great but will not be a staple due to cost.

I lived on Cape Cod during the days ( 40's - 60's) when Coffee Soda was as popular as Coke and Pepsi. Treat yourself to something special if you have never had Coffee Soda. Manhattan Special delivers it all in a great refreshing taste that earns the respect with every bottle. My tastebuds tell me "you can't beat it" Enjoy!

I remembered this soda from my childhood and I am so glad it's still being made. It reminds me of wonderful times with my family in the past, and gives me the opportunity to create new and wonderful memories! Great coffee flavor too, just like before!
