I’ve owned Crème Shop Macaroon lip balms before in the past and there always seems to be a similar issue. While the smell and color are great, the problem lies in its impact on my lips. It can be a good thing to bring in your pocket if you absolutely need it but in terms of being actually moisturizing, it falls short. Your lips dry out pretty fast afterwards and it doesn’t really help hydrate them. I’ve had to mix Vaseline with my balm to give it any effect of hydration. Also really annoying is how the balm has this cute little character on the front, but it doesn’t last! The design on the front and back will fade off over time, and I’ve had to draw on a completely new design on the front cuz it’s become a bare pink lid now. On its own it isn’t great, it’s not for me.
