Excellent
Got into an old farm, have many many many trees that needed some help. Purchased this to assist- and glad I did. It really works well, and the biggest weight is perfect for yucking into tall trees. Pretty strong line as well, I'm about 190# and can lean on it pretty good without it stretching. The "Slick Line" part works well too, always makes it through the trees. I've been trying to think of something that would make it better, but everything works as it should, and thus, is a good value for the money. Would recommend!

Ball stuck in a tree?
This is great quality and the perfect weight. Now I have used this to help me trim large trees in my back yard but this is great for something else also. If you are like me, I like to kick ball really high when playing with the kids in my family. Well... I tend to get balls stuck in trees so... I used this to throw up and wrap around the branch hold the ball. This can be over 50ft in the air and I grab both sides of the rope and shake the ball down. Kids are not crying anymore and love watching me throw this up so high!

Depends on what kind of Tree
The throw line and bag are high quality. I needed this combination to feed a rope saw chain up into higher branches in my oak trees that were out of reach of my pole saw. The throw line was great: very slick so it didn’t get caught on the rough bark, highly visible and good thickness at 3/16”. The bag, even at 15 oz, would get caught in the oak’s branches and not be heavy enough to pull the line down to the ground because of the oak’s branch growth pattern and rough bark. This kit would be best suited for pine or trees with smoother bark. My solution for oak was to slingshot a bullet shaped sinker attached to 15lb fishing line attached to the orange throw line to feed the rope chain saw up into the tree. If needed, I then sent the throw bag into the limb being cut to apply down pressure to keep the saw from binding in the cut. For help with tying knots, try the app called Animated Knots by Grogg.

Felling trees just got a lot easier
No more climbing trees or using a ladder to get a rope around a tree before cutting it down. This simple weighted bag and the rope are all you'll need. I've used this many times when felling trees and it's so much quicker and easier than climbing. Tie the small rope to the bag and throw it over a limb. Then untie the weight bag and tie the small rope to your felling rope and pull it up. Really makes life a lot easier. The bag has a nice weight to it which makes it easier to throw it up higher in the tree.

Rope is good looking and the shot bag is a nice plus.
The rope is great but have not used it yet as my Asthma took me out for a few weeks and the weather has not been cooperating. Will use it soon though, that branch is still hanging overt my fireplace chimney and scraping it when the wind blows.
