We bought this particular electric blanket six years ago, and it still works perfectly. Now we have just bought a second one, identical to the first, for another bedroom. So my review here is mostly a copy of my previous review:-We chose this electric blanket on the basis of its excellent reviews, and have not been disappointed. It arrived nicely presented in a square transparent polythene box with a zipped lid (so you can use it to store the blanket in the summer). Unlike other electric blankets I've experienced this one covers ALL the bed, there is no skimping of material. It fits securely on the bed with the skirt 'netting' tucked under the mattress all round. Comfort: this electric blanket is made of fleece which means it is nicely warm to lay on even when not switched on. It has dual controls operated by manual controllers (two of them of course on each side of the blanket) which each have 3 heat settings. As other reviewers have suggested, manual switches, although not so techie as digital ones, are likely to be more reliable. The controllers certainly appear to be robust and are easy to use. The controllers hang down a few inches from the mattress so you can't inadvertently lay on them. Where the cables fit into the edge of the blanket there is a very slight bump, but this is right on the blanket edge and won't interfere with your sleep at all. I know some people are preoccupied with how long an electric blanket takes to heat up. This doesn't especially concern me but for the record this seems pretty quick. On '3' setting (the highest) the bed gets comfortably warm in 30 minutes, and very warm after 50 minutes. A bonus is that because the blanket is made of fleece it retains the heat better. This means I set it to '3' half an hour before I go to bed and then turn it off just before I get into bed. The blanket retains the heat for quite a while. You could of course leave it on '1' all night I suppose if you really are a cold mortal. So all in all we (my wife and I) are very pleased with it. The dual controls mean there are no disagreements as we can each choose what heat setting we like. Lastly, you can gently hand wash or machine wash (on the Wool setting) this blanket (disconnecting the controllers first of course). So very pleased with it. In my opinion it's far better value than a couple of other household name electric blankets I've tried in the past.

Good packaging, fits easily to mattress despite topper. Controls are easy and work. Lovely and cosy! What's not to like?

Nice and fleecy, but not full bed size, stops just before the pillows , didn`t use in the end as seems to small and more of a mat on the bed, so gave it away to a family member.

This review is for the super king blanket which I fully recommend.The blanket is well constructed of a fleece material with an attached elasticated skirt. This skirt fits well over a deep mattress and holds the blanket in place. I chose this version with manual controls because I have it plugged into an Alexa-controlled smart socket. This enables me to set a timer or use voice control to turn it on and off.I only use the blanket to heat up the bed and turn it off before I get in. I have it on setting 2 or 3 for about and hour which warms up the pyjamas and bed nicely. It is very comfortable and you cannot feel the wires when lying on it.The only thing that may be an issue for some people is the placement of the connecting plugs on the blanket. They are positioned on each edge about a foot down from the top which puts it almost level with your shoulder. If you sleep lying on the edge of the bed this could be a bit uncomfortable but I don’t find it issue.I love this blanket, it is cosy, comfortable and keeps you snuggly warm all night. Get one, you won’t regret it!

This electric blanket is unlike any I’ve had in the past. It has a thick and very warm fleece base with a net skirt which easily tucks under every side of the mattress. There are no ties or cords to have to fiddle with, having to lift heavy mattresses right up to get them right under to the other side, as in the past. Consequently, the blanket is very securely fitted to the bed and when I woke the next morning hadn’t moved at all. It warms up quickly and evenly and I specifically chose this make as it had the two separate controls for each side of the bed. I am incredibly impressed with the design of this blanket and only wish I had bought it years ago. Yes, it is expensive but it has a really luxurious and good quality feel. I expect it to last a long time.

My wife is a cold mortal. By which I hasten to add, means that she feels the cold particularly, not that she is a cold person. Right, got that out of the way. Combined with my aversion to putting the heating on due to a severe case of depleted wallet, meant she was not happy once the weather started becoming colder with the onset of winter. So, reading the reviews and carefully checking the running costs, I purchased this blanket.Well, I am now the most wonderful chap in the world. She loves it. It fits a treat, we find it does not slip and move about, and the comfy fleecy finish means you cannot feel any wires or connections. Put on setting three, ten minutes later (it would probably have been up to temperature much quicker) it was really toasty and comfortable. Necessitating a quick change of setting to number one for my wife, and zero for me (the two halves system is great for us, I do not feel the cold to the same degree) she left her side on overnight and says she was really cozy all night (nothing to do with me then?).Since then the blanket has been used most nights and my wife has even had to switch it off completely sometimes as she was getting too warm - amazing. As winter progresses I think we shall find this was one of my better purchases (I have been known to buy some rubbish in my time) and will no doubt remain on the bed until spring. When we shall be able to try out the claim that this is washable, another bonus. So hopefully I shall be reporting on that with more good comments. As to the having to get out of bed to switch it off completely, well, who do you think gets that job? "Well, the switch is on your side." A small price to pay for keeping my wife warm and complaint free!

Lovely thick electric blanket, very soft and fits my bed perfectly. Two controls are handy for both sides of the bed, my husband likes it hotter than me.
