STATIONERY ISLAND Bullet Dotted Journal A5, Hardcover Dotted Notebook, Thick 120gsm Paper 180 Pages Journal Notebook

I've kept a bullet journal since 2018 in different forms, sometimes going all in with decorating it & getting creative and sometimes focusing on function and utility. I've had two Leuchtturm 1917s, a Rhodia, a moleskine, and an unbranded note book from a pound shop, and after using a magenta Stationary Island notebook for most of 2023, I've just bought two more while they were on sale!I find this notebook has exactly what I need without frills and whistles - a sturdy cover that's lasted the year and still looks great, well-sewn pages that stand up to frequent use (where glued ones often come loose), a 5mm dot grid that makes setting layouts and measuring things out with a ruler really easy, and thick enough pages that the pens I use don't seep through (Micron art markers of various thicknesses, Tombow brush nibs, Staedler triplus, other standard pens), two bookmarks and a back pocket. I love the range of colours they have and I think these are well-designed notebooks.While you can find cheaper A5 dot grid notebooks, I have yet to find one cheaper that can compete with the pricier Leuchtturms and Rhodias as well as this one does. I can't see me ever going back!

I have several bullet journals but this is by far my new favourite. Very thick pages 120 gsm, faint but yet distinct dots on each page. same size as all other bullet journals/A5 notebook. The binding seems secure and the page bookmark ribbons are small and dainty which is perfect to stop them getting in the way. The back pocket has silk sides, not card ones which was surprising but a nice touch and the colour is such a vibrant blue. It's wonderful. I haven't used it yet so can't attest for bleed or ghosting but it seems solid and like that wouldn't be a problem. the pages aren't numbered so it's hard to tell how many are there but Iahve a perfectly penned journal which is over 250 pages thick and this stationary island one comes nearly the same width so definitely had over 180 pages. All in all the best buy ever for someone interested in bullet journaling. My only criticism is that it doesn't ocme in more colours.

Paper seems nice and thick, nice colour and the pages stay open and flat during use which was a big factor in weather I was going to enjoy this product or not.

The best thing about these journals is that I can see the clear dots on each page. My eyesight is not as good as it used to be so I really appreciate being able to actually see (and therefore use) the dotted grid. Also really good is the feel of the cover and the colour and quality of the paper, which I think is excellent. I bought two and will definitely buy again.

Gorgeous notebook and the jade/turquoise colour adds to it`s look. If like me you can`t resist notebooks, journals and too many is never enough then you`ll love this!Quality paper that hasn`t bled through even with my felt tips. Lays open well while writing. I opted for the dotted layout so I can choose it`s use. It has two silky bookmarks and a super smooth covering that feels nice to touch and is wipe clean. Notebooks like this doesn`t help my compulsion to buy at all! ;)x x

Nice size A5, dot matrix journal with quality paper, I use a fountain pen and no bleed-through. Would be perfect for a BuJo, as it lies flat and has 2 marker ribbons and a rear pocket. Great to pop into your bag, or keep on your desk. It also has a nice elastic to secure it closed, but no pen loop to hold a pen, so if this is a feature you would like, maybe you could add one. Overall: excellent value for money.
