Nice chair. Pretty simple assembly.
Not sure if anyone has mentioned this, but the angle of the chair is determined by the tension as you sit in the sling. So you can rock it a bit on a soft surface. I like that. Nice fit and finish. Seating position is good for working on a laptop or just leaning your head back to chill.

Beautiful, Comfortable & Sturdy
This is our second one, we use them indoors to watch TV. I'm 6'1" 200 lbs. with a bad back. They fold away quickly and are quite comfortable for a couple hours of sitting.Steps 1-4 were a breeze, step 5 was a brain teaser. Had to refer to the one I already had put together and I was still scratching my head. Step 6 - you'll need to look at a picture of the final product for clarification.Took me about 30 minutes to assemble.Removing the canvas for washing is quick and easy.We also own other BYER products for outdoor use and like any hardwood - they need to be oiled and maintained occasionally to preserve their beauty and maintain their look. Extremely pleased with all of their products.

I'm sure it's great if you can get the screws in
This chair is a nightmare to assemble, even with the so called assembly improvements Byer claims to have made. The screws are long and require a lot of hand and arm strength to screw in, I actually injured my hand on the second screw. I'm literally in tears realizing I have 12 more screws to go. I've put together many pieces of furniture over the years, none were as exhausting as this. Byer could have made these much easier to screw in with the right hardware but they want you to do the work instead. I may have to pay someone just to finish this chair. Unfortunately I ordered 4 of these things, no way I'm going through this for 3 more chairs. Can't express my disappointment.

Unbelievably annoying assembly
NO assembly instructions, online video hard to folllow. Just put some gosh darn stickers matching up the pieces.

High quality, beautiful, safe packing, fast delivery
Beautiful, sturdy, comfortable, great value, safely packed, quick delivery! In between our ordering the chairs and the delivery, a storm demolished our patio and COVID restrictions caused an indefinite delay of repairs, so we returned them unused, but we will re-order these great chairs when our construction is completed.

a pillow would help, especially for shorter people
The chair is well made. The wooden frame feels sturdy. I did need my husbands help with the assembly. The screws were difficult to attach.

Wood wears terribly
I really love this chair. But so so so disappointed in how it has worn after only three months. It is in Sun about 5 hours a day and the wood is already worn out and chipping apart a little bit. It's supposed to be an outdoor chair so I can't imagine why it's worn so poorly. I wish I had known that before buying or have been told to Varnish it or something. I feel like the wood is ruined now. Nowhere near the color it was three months ago when I bought it. Disappointing.

Great addition to my outdoor patio
Really like these outdoor chairs. Comfy, easy to put away (folds in half), and easy to assemble. Very happy.
