Worked as Expected
This was my first time ever using this type of tool, I used it for the bottom seat cover for my truck. It has grooves in it to hold the hog ring and has a spring to keep pressure on the hog ring while it is in those grooves. For a novice, it was perfect and easily did the job it was intended for.

The right tool for the job
Did my own upholstery repair on a car seat. This combo of pliers and hog rings is exactly the right tool and product to get the job done right. And so inexpensive. I would encourage ny potential buyers to buy this product and attempt repairs yourself. If it doesn’t turn out then no big deal. But it is a money saver if it works for you. I reupholstered my car’s interior after buying the replacement custom leather covers using this tool. Literally all I needed. Saved a lot of do-rey-mi. Me so happy.

Hog ring pliers worked great, so much easier than try to use needle nose or regular pliers to install these hog rings

The quality is good, but the problem I had was trying to get them to hold the cushion in my seat and my F150

Worked perfectly for me, no issues and worked better than I expected
I just got done re-covering my 2011 Wrangler seats, and this worked perfectly. No issues, worked perfect and it was very easy to hook the bars and crimp the hog rings. The tool is not snap on quality, but I'm not using them every day and I think they will give me a life time of use for no more than I expect to use them. I didn't have to pay someone $300 to do what I could do in 30 minutes.

Good value
I used these to install my leather seats. I had never used hog rings, hog ring plyers, or anything like that before. They seem to work as good as I could have expected and the spring loaded design really helps you manipulate your hands around so you can get those difficult hog rings attached. If I hadn't screwed up so many hog rings just from learning how to use them I would have had enough to complete two front seat covers and a split bench cover on the rear of my truck.
