I've already tried two boxes. The pillows were rigid, unable to clasp my ladies watches, small wrist Do these really compress to clasp ladies watches?

If you have a very small wrist probably wont work for u.. its sturdier on the sides can squeeze a little in the middle for my tighter watches. For the leather and silicon shouldnt have a problem. Also for some tighter one's I just left the clasp open in the back u cant tell when its in the case.

Will this case hold the larger 52-63 invicta watches???

The slots may not be large enough for your watches.

What are the internal dimentions of the entire cavity and do the dividers come out?

YES the dividers will come out if you want. Also the pillows are removable. I have many enamel bangle bracelets and use this to store them, it is perfect. The dimensions inside the cavity are 10.5"x16.5".

do the squre divider/inserts come out? I want to use this for displaying watches + cufflinks/tiebars, so would need to remove 1/4 or so

The little"pillows" come out but I don't think the deviders do. Quality box, we are very happy with it.
