Amazing product super fast delivery
I was dubious about this working but I am amazed with it ! I have a ipod classic 160gb , and have thousands of songs on it that I'm only able to really listen to via headphones or car lead , which has developed a fault . This little magic box has enabled me to listen to my ipod on a jbl extreme 2 speaker and the parrot 9200 Bluetooth in my car . I found it really easy to connect to both , I did take the advice of a review and made sure all other bluetooth devices were off , plugged it into ipod ,little blue light flashed and it connected . I'm also able to lower volume and change songs on actual ipod ,I know some people have struggled with that aspect. All in all I'm absolutely delighted with this little device ,would totally recommend .

Ordered this to listen to music in the car (toyota Yaris) and so far it has worked great. I know that the transmitter does not work with all ipod models so it's worth reading through a few reviews first. My ipod is 80Gb classic model produced between 2007-09 though it is a second hand model so I couldn't say what year. So far it works great I'm able to listen to my music without sacrificing volume (volume has to be controlled through the car/device recieving but the track change pause etc. work through ipod). It does seem to fit in a little starnegley though sitting almost diagonally in at the bottom port. It does also have to spend a minute or two recognising the ipod each time it plugs in though I'm not bothered by that as long as I got my ipod music in the car it's all tickety-boo. The transmitter does take its power from the ipod itself, so I imagine it will drain the ipod battery life quicker, but so far haven't noticed much difference. So far I am extremely happy with the transmitter and I'm very glad to have it with me on my car journeys.

Disappointed
Bought this to listen and enjoy treasured playlists on my iPod Classic via Bluetooth. Great idea but have experienced the following issues:1) The device struggles, or is unable, to pair with the Bluetooth setting on my new network receiver. It paired once but that’s it. Bizarrely it tries to pair with my neighbours Smart TV yet it won’t find my device 1 foot away.2) It pairs with my Beats Studio3 which is great, HOWEVER....during playback, I am unable to control the volume on either the iPod or my cans once the device is plugged in?! It also nullifies the ability to skip tracks or stop playback on my Beats. These functions can only be controlled on the iPod classic - which defeats the purpose of Bluetooth. If I’m doing something wrong, I’d love to be corrected. On this basis, it partially does what it’s supposed to do.

Works well with 4th generation Ipod
Perfect for my Ipod nano 4th generation and Sony sound bar.It is simple and has a good range (more than 7 meters). I put it in the kitchen and the sound bar is in the living room and still works. You cannot control the sound using the Ipod controls, you have to use the controls on the sound bar. This is better than the rechargeable one I had previously as I don't have to keep charging it. The battery on the Ipod lasts about 4.5 to 5 hours. It would be great if there was also an option to run this using a charger plugged into its side or bottom then you could keep listening to the music all day! 4 star only for the battery consumption everything else is great.

Does the job but very high battery drain.
Does the job but very high battery drain. Unsure if it may do harm to the battery. Rather limiting but does work.

IPOD CLASSIC SAVED THANKS TO THIS LITTLE TRANSMITTER
Great little solution if your headphone jack ever breaks on your ipad or ipod classic. My headphone jack on my ipod classic had broken after 8 years, that little thing was my lifeline for music on the go. Needless to say i was looking for any solution to my problem, must have looked at a dozen sites over a number of weeks & it all came down to the diy route of opening it up & replacing the broken jack wire inside. I am not adverse to opening things up to fix em but i know they dont manufacture ipod classics anymore & i didnt wanna risk making an error. I had resigned myself to losing my musical cache of just over 20,000 songs when i came across this little beauty. Was i dubious it would work, most definately but i figured what the hell, for £30 it was worth a punt & to my pleasant surprise it worked, took maybe 15 to 20 seconds to pair with my blutooth cans & i was good to go. I then tried it with my ipad 2, worked again no problem, tried it again with my aqua audio blutooth shower speaker & hey presto that worked also, albeit if you put your songs on shuffle you cannot skip tracks on your speaker, a minor niggle none the less. I couldnt be happier knowing i dont have to put my ipod classic away, that it can continue to serve me faithfully, as it has done for the last 8 or 9 years, my trusty mobile music library is good to go, all thanks to this little transmitter, grand job.

It’s very easy to connect iPod to smart speaker and to vehicle entertainment system.
The unit is very easy to link old iPod classic to smart speaker and also to vehicle entertainment system to listen to my music on the go, as new vehicles don’t come with a cd player these days I can listen to a lot of my music collection in my car on long journeys.
