Nice and Simple
What's different about this one (the USB-A Tester and Meter), is that it has the tester built in. I haven't really come across any USB power meters that have that feature. Either that or I have, and they were just too complex for me to realize that they did. What I would really like to see though, is something that's just like the power meter that has a USB-A and a USB-C output and input, and that also has a tester like this one does. As far as basic testing of what devices are charging at though, this tester and power meter works quite well, in my opinion.

Good pass / fail tester.
I bought this for testing USB ports in campers while working as an RV Technician. 910Beside the data display screen there is the test screen which has 4 load levels to choose from.I have had a charge port ‘fail’, and it dimmed the bedroom lights too which indicated a problem. Very rare, but you don’t want to sell an $80k 5th wheel hauler that has a plug that won’t charge your phone!I’ve only played around with the pass thru feature so far, bought it for testing USB ports, which it does great. This isn’t for everyone, definitely a techie gadget. I only wish it had its own power so that I didn’t have to wait for it to ‘boot’ before testing. Some RVs have several ports throughout.I would buy again but I shouldn’t ever have to. It’s of good Klein quality. I like it.

Good Product if you have the need
I used the product as designed and directed and it was a great product and worked as designed. It is very nice that it did not require any batteries! I really appreciate that part. The ribbed sides make it easy to hold and use. The built in cord is a nice addition. It is also useful that you can use a product while testing the USB port. All in all it is a great product and easy to use. I'm just not sure when or where I would use it. The only reason I give it four stars instead of five is that I'm not sure when I would use it. Otherwise great product.

Great little tester does what it says
I like that I can read the display even if the port is upside down or a difficult spot. It has built in load test up to 3amps and I can check the charging mode. It would be batter if it always displayed the mode. For heavy testing you will need an external load as the built in load is only on for like 5 seconds, plenty for quick checks. The tester case is very durable and should survive my tool bag.

Insonsistent results. Possibly poor quality batteries. Would exchange 30 days window closed....
Gives reading that are impossible; 150mah for 3 AAA. Under multiple conditions... but so many inconsistancies does suggest the meter tester is at fault of these readings. Like 0 ohms, 0 ma (under 50 reads as zero which is not completwly wrong but @ 5.3v oem charger runs at 2000ma fast charging.), also under various circumstances cables batteries and charger the time stamp freezes. Ive tested load and in all but 1 power brick ive sufficiemt amperage to run both devices. Will exhange through klein to double check these results. Thank you so far im very happy being able to have objective measurements since purchasing 5v products is vbecoming very popular, with unreliable quality creating a base line that everyone can see helps those who choose to see.

Excellent finding out which receptacles actually use and put out the proper power for USB
I like the fact you can check the output have USB ports on computers and chargers and cars etc because most manufacturers lie about the output of their chargers this gives you the the facts about your actual USB power
