Salerno Santa's Favorites Holiday Original Recipe Anise Cookies, 10 Oz

I grew up on Jingles cookies and so disappointed they are no longer around. I came across an article discussing those cookies and it mentioned this brand is still around. I was not disappointed in the taste and it brough back so many memories. I wish these would be available in stores.Price was high for a box of cookies but worth the occasional splurge.

Still tastes the same as they did from my Childhood. My mom asked if they made these anymore and I went on a mission to find them. Local Walmarts and targets advertise having them but they’re all “special order only“. I’ll still say five stars for flavor. But I just don’t get why they are so expensive. I mean, if these things seriously expire in the next six weeks, I don’t understand why there aren’t more out there. Hey! Salerno!! I got an old lady with immune issues, and walking issues cooped up in my house that had a Birthday this past week and if you ever need to load off a bunch about yo expire....you got my address! ;)Love them!Came in the original Old style plain blue box.Amazon puts a stamp over the expiration but I peeled it off to just make sure it was in date, and they are. I Bought 2-boxes 3 days ago, they arrived early, and the expiration is Jun 2020.

I love these cookies! I can’t wait to get some more when the time comes. A bit pricey online so I will get more when they are available again at Walmart.

These are still great but about the third of the size they used to be! I couldn't believe it! This is the only place I've been able to find them, albeit for a ridiculous price.

I was looking for the Salerno Jingles I loved as a kid. There aren't it. I don't know why people are accepting this as a substitute. They are doughy, strong flavored,and just weren't good. At all. I think I paid 12.00 for this single box of cookies and I threw them in the trash. I tried one, had another hoping it might get better, but it didn't. Never again. At least I tried.

We've always loved Salerno cookies and we grew up on these butter cookies. We haven't had these in many years and I was so happy when I saw these on Amazon!I bought a box, as a special surprise for my sister, and they were terrific. Delicious and crunchy, buttery and very satisfying.When we ate these as kids, we put the cookie on our fingers and ate around the cookie until we got to the center. Happily, our adult fingers still perfectly fit inside the cookie. The kids joined us and even though they are not big 'plain' cookie lovers (they love chocolate!) they munched on these along with us. And they loved them!We finished off the box and have another box on order. I guess it worked out fine that we ate the whole box, because there's no way to re-close the inside plastic packaging. Not a problem, because they are so good, they don't last long.

The cookies were festive looking, but were not flavorful. Could have just ordered sugar cookies.

Ate both boxes in less than a week!
