So I wanted a serum that had more than just vitamin c in it. I’ve been successfully just using c on my skin but didn’t want to buy individual serums. This serum is great because it’s packed with good stuff for the face.I have been reading a lot about hyaluronic acid being the new hot thing for your face. I always wanted to try retinol for its ability to even skin tone and do away with some of the age spots I have begun to notice on my face. And lastly, I have read that 5% salicylic acid might be good for my rosacea. My skin is sensitive and the area around my mouth (where laugh lines show) is where I have Rosacea and is not something I would have considered putting salicylic acid on, so I was a bit apprehensive. But so far so good.The serum itself is cloudy but it’s uniformly cloudy so I think everything is in solution. It has a smell that is similar to an antiseptic. It’s not that great of a smell but you can’t have everything.The serum goes on my face smoothly. I use about 5 drops each day. It absorbs quickly and completely. One thing I did notice was it does tend to dry out my face a bit so I have to apply moisturizer twice, but my face tends to be dry anyhow. My skin just soaks up the mositurizer right away so I reapply. I may switch to a thicker moisturizer for the winter which may alleviate the need to put twice as much on.I’ve only been using it for about a week. So far it goes on nice and my skin feels smooth after using it. This product does not moisturize my skin, which is why I put 2 stars above for ‘moisturizes’, but no product with salicylic acid ever moisturizes so not sure why that’s one of the questions for reviewers to answer.I haven’t noticed any other effects yet, but it’s only been a week. I anticipate my skin being brighter (retinol), breakouts to a minimum (salicylic scid), and overall my skin to look healthier once I use this product for a while. I have read you need at least 6 weeks and as much as 6 months to notice a difference with retinol. I will update my review when I notice a change.Update:I’ve been using this product for a while now. I’m on my second bottle. I have found my rosacea is the best it’s every been since I added this serum to my regiment. I am no longer nervous about salicylic acid now. It definitely keeps the rosacea in check and as long as I moisturize well (which I have to do anyway); my skin is glowing, it doesn’t burn or feel raw from the rosacea, and I haven’t had any major rosacea break outs. I have decided the scent doesn’t matter compared to the results I have seen — bumped it back up to 5 stars. I have sensitive skin and rosacea... and this product works so well for me that I highly recommend.Please let me know if you have found my review to be helpful!

I was shocked at the difference a week made with this product. Not irritation for my sensitive skin and my complexion is starting to even out. A few of my lighter blemishes have faded and my breakouts are being kept at bay. Love this product so much. It also doesn't dry my skin out and works well in combo with my hydration routine

I started with Eva’s which is also available on Amazon, and liked it. When I had to reorder, this brand would arrive sooner, so I decided to try it because ingredients were so similar. I’d say I’m happy with the switch. It’s similar to Eva’s but has .5% more retinol. I have no reaction nor breakouts from this. In fact, when I feel a pimple coming up, it actually prevents it from surfacing. It won’t make it disappear right away, but it’s not as noticeable and eventually makes it go away in a few days. It’s helping my face from looking too dry during the cold northeast winter. I use it morning and night. I even love the smell, it’s kind of floral like lilly with light tree oil scent. Will continue to reorder!

This serum is a wonderful alternative to using multiple serums. I have noticed a difference in the texture of my skin and my pores appear smaller. Does a good job of brightening the look of my skin too. I will buy this again.

i used this for a whole month straight and haven't seen any great results, the product is ehh to me.

I am on my second bottle. The first bottle was given to me as a gift. I have to admit, it just sat in my cabinet for 9 months before I deigned to use it. I thought it would be ineffective simply because it was so cheap. I have never been so happy to be wrong!I am middle-aged, with oily, acne-prone skin that scars easily. I have tried all everything out there to try to control my oil, clear up and prevent my acne, and lighten my scars. I had my own routine with tons of products - glycolic acid toner, very expensive Vitamin C serum, The Ordinary's salicylic acid and niacinamide + zinc, tea tree oil as a spot treatment, also trying to incorporate retinol on top of all of that (unsuccessfully), etc. This replaced all of those! My routine is so freaking easy and fast now!Although my acne has not cleared up completely (dairy causes most of my acne, and it's hard to avoid), the pimples are fewer and leave faster. Blackheads are gone completely - no more sitting around for 30 minutes with a mud mask on trying to get them out! Scars fade faster. My skin is no longer oily; in fact, I can use a moisturizer during the day now, which I never bothered with before. I cannot speak to whether or not it helps with wrinkles, but I did experience some flakiness at first, which means the retinol is working. I still cannot get over how a $15 serum replaced my $200+ routine.

I really like this serum. I have had issues with adult acne for 15 years and I am always trying new products and regimes to keep it under control. This popped up as a suggested product and I decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did.When I woke up after my 1st use my skin was noticeably clearer and less red and inflamed. By the end of the week I could feel my skins texture softening and smoothing out. The only thing I would suggest is to be very careful around your eyes. This solution is incredibly strong and the skin in that area could not handle it on a daily basis. As soon as I lessened applications the irritation calmed down.Now my skin is much softer and more radiant and my acne is controlled. I also really like that this is a natural product. I like knowing exactly what I am using on such an important part of my body.Unfortunately, I knocked over the bottle after 11 days so I'm not exactly where I want my skin to be. Overall, I am astonished by the results. I look forward to purchasing a new bottle to see how I look after 90 days.
