Great tent and customer service
Perfect tent for our needs while offroading/camping. I had a question and their customer service was friendly & prompt in ensuring I had a great customer experience. Would highly recommend the Crua Core to anyone in the market for a high quality outdoor sleeping solution.

No bottom door zipper, non closable vents
So frustrating, quality and customer service are top notch BUT, they are obsessed with non closable vents and an outside door with NO bottom zipper, just side zippers. It makes the tent unusable in cold weather. Not a 4 season tent. Would buy one in a second if this was fixed.

Happy Camper!
The media could not be loaded. I am a very happy camper!I Received my tent in less than a week. Was very well packaged; box was intact and product was found in perfect condition upon opening. The tent and all accessories come inside of the travel carrying case, which is seriously compact for how big this tent is. At the time of this review, I have now put it back in the bag two times, and although it’s not the easiest thing getting it back in, it does go. It helps having the tent completely drained of air- if there is any air left, there’s no chance of getting it to fit.Getting the tent out of the bag for the first time, I was in awe of how giant the tent is! I had planned on doing a video review in my basement, but it filled the entire room (and I have a decent sized basement.) Even in my two car garage with 8 ft. ceilings, it wants more space. It has a “main” area, and a room to the side, I would plan on using this smaller room to sleep. It could definitely fit 6 people comfortably.Onto the materials: Crua has done an excellent job creating what appears to be a very durable product. I’ve owned much less expensive tents, and they have lasted a while, but this is certainly a product you will own for a lifetime. They even include patches in the event your tent rips! While Crua’s website has plenty more information on the actual materials and construction, I will say that I’ve never been more satisfied with an “outdoor sporting good” purchase in terms of build quality. The stitch-work is really solid and I don’t anticipate needing to worry about re-sewing anything. The one thing that could be better with this purchase is the pump. The adaptors on the pump and hose constantly disconnect while pumping, and my wife and I had to make this a two person job. I’m not saying it’s impossible to blow up the tent alone, but it definitely makes it easier having another person to hold the hose in place. That being said, the pump blows the tent up really quickly!! There are two posts that you have to blow up, and if you were in a hurry, you could probably do it in 3 minutes.Overall, I’m super happy I purchased this tent! It is a little on the pricey side, and by far the most expensive tent I’ve ever purchased, but I’m confident I’ll get my money’s worth from it.

Crua Core can handle my adventure! I am now a loyal customer of Crua Outdoors!
This Crua Core exceeded our expectations! Previously, I had the experience of having a tent that leaked when it rained. I made the decision to get a better tent that was well-designed that would keep us dry in a downpour. It did rain while we were camping, and we were nice and safely dry with the Crua Core! The designers must be obsessed with quality and beauty. I am now a loyal customer of Crua Outdoors!

Puzzled
The tent itself is great but I’m wondering why it is advertised as insulated. There is absolutely no insulation. If it was supposed to come with a liner, I did not receive it.

Huge
It’s kinda difficult to put up, the pump is cheap and hose keeps coming undone, for the price you pay for the tent, a better pump should be included, I have set it up twice , and cursed at it both times , until it’s up, it can be frustrating ,, when it’s pitched I am in awe

Not as advertised! Leaks like crazy! Also service issues.
I purchased the Core. Weeks went by and I had my credit card bill before the tent even shipped. I had to ask why it hadn't shipped yet and they told me customs held it up. So I went on my next camping trip with my old tent, which luckily, I had not thrown away yet. Finally got the new tent. Went camping, had several hours of rain the first evening, no wind. Went into the tent and discovered water running down the front inside the vestibule and several puddles inside the tent. Emailed Crua, they wanted my pictures of the leaks, then they agreed to send me a replacement. Again, weeks went by, no shipment, no communication. They said there was a shipping error and they would expedite it. So the package arrives 2 days before my next camping trip and it's the wrong product! So now they overnight me the correct product. I go camping, again have a couple hours of rain, and again find puddles inside my tent and on top of the sleeping bags. They better give me the refund I requested. This hassle took 2.5 months and I now have 10 days to find myself a new tent before an 8-day camping trip. I am not a happy camper!

Creating Tent Envy Among Friends
I love researching for value products when buying outdoors gear. Before buying the Cura Core a Eureka Cascade was my big tent. Granted this is a much more expensive tent than something like a Cascade but the quality, engineering and thought that went into the Core resulted in a quality product.Took a 4 night trip north of Mammoth Lakes in late September putting the Core through it's paces. My buddy has a self erecting Coleman 5 man tent and I had the Core up before him. Glad he has zero mechanical ability.😳 He had tent envy! What I liked about the Core is how simple it is to erect and stake out. Ventilation was excellent and even in mid 20's early morning temps the Core retained warmth. Zipper quality and engineering is excellent. Easy tracks and the only curved entrance zipper is the interior mosquito net. The zipper moves smoothly through the radius. Who likes fighting to open a zipper. My buddies asked how much the Core cost and after telling them, they could only nod, saying good buy. I agree. Looking forward to a trip where I can have the vestibule facing a rushing stream or placid lake.
