Great reference of the B-52
Another great book from the ‘Legends of Warfare’ series of books. For a great price you get a hardback book, sturdy pages, great photographs and some good information on the development and the the different versions of the B-52.You shouldn’t purchase it if you are looking to gather for detailed technical information. This is more of a good informative book to get you aquatinted with the bomber.

The author was not as knowledgeable as I had expected.
The book was a gift to my husband who flew more than 200 missions in B-52s in Southeast Asia during the early 1970s. The pictures were great, but the accompanying information was disappointing. The information about the Vietnam War in particular, and all wars in general, was inadequate.

Nice, colorful, and succint low-cost account of the B-52 Stratofortress
Many books have been written about the B-52 Stratofortress, but this book is a reasonably-priced account detailing and illustrating a high-profile icon of American air power. The author uses the intro to discuss the impetus for the B-52, and he divides the table of contents into all B-52 variants, complete with short descriptions and tons of photographs highlighting the B-52's illustrious career since its first flight in 1952. Lists of serial numbers are even provided for each B-52 variant, and it's noteworthy that the B-52F was the first B-52 variant to see action in Vietnam, although the B-52D and B-52E would later join the fight against North Vietnam.
