YEAXLUD Womens Renaissance Medieval Costume Dress Lace up Irish Over Long Dresses Cosplay Retro Gown

I purchased this beautiful green and cream/gold dress for my 12 year old daughter to wear at my renaissance themed wedding. The color is stunning and the pictures don't do it justice. I got her a small but I am going to reorder her this in a medium as the small is a bit tight and makes her look slightly pregnant when she's not. She currently weights 113 lbs and is 5'1" tall. The dress has a great flow. No need for a petticoat or a slip. It does seem to cling to her body but again I believe I should have went up a size. I didn't notice any unusual smells. The only thing I didn't like about the dress was the laces which were more like extremely long and very thin shoe laces. The cream colored one was on the back of the dress which stood out like a sore thumb. The black one was on the front of the dress which didn't look as awful. I plan of purchasing a thin ribbon to relace the new dress with as I feel that would look better. Other than that my only other complaint with be the placement of the tag. It is sewn upwards in between the seem at the back of the neckline and forces it to stick straight up. There's no real way of hiding it and would be difficult to remove if you're not a seemtress which I am not. Sure you can just cut it out but it's going to be noticeable. These complaints are minor inconveniences which is why I'm still giving the dress a 5 star rating.

I bought this dress for my daughter for a school project. The quality and fit are good- it seems tries to size, and the fabric is soft and comfortable. It looks like it will hold up well, and is perfect for what we needed

I followed advice from other reviews and ordered 2/3 sizes larger than I normally would have. I am 5'9", 195 lbs, and I normally wear a Large, sometimes XL (size 12 pants, size 36DDD bra). I ordered the XXX-Large, going up an extra size for length. I definitely could have ordered the XX-Large, probably the XL and it would have easily fit, but I'm glad I have the extra length. I would definitely go at least one size up, and at least 2 sizes up if you are taller.I also figured it was ok to err on the larger side since there is lacing on the front and back, so I could make it tighter if need be. Well, the lacing is in such a weird position it won't really work. Also, instead of the 6 loops on each side, as pictured, there are 2 loops on each side. The bottom of the front laces goes to mid-boob. The lacing in back is right around my shoulder blades. I tried to pull the dress down so these would be closer to where they should be (my waist???) but it wouldn't stay. I then tried to make it look not totally weird, but it just does. I've decided to remove the loops for the lacing and move them to where they should be. This will be easy for me, but I know not everyone will have that options - so larger sizes beware.Additionally, I've decided to find something with which to replace the lacing itself. It comes with a black cord, similar to the shoelace on a men's dress shoe. It's fine, and the visual effect is there, but I just think for a couple of dollars it can look a whole lot better. I'll try to remember to add pictures once I've made the changes.Length-wise, it hits right at the top of my foot - honestly, it couldn't be more perfect. It's just long enough without dragging on the ground - which normally wouldn't bother me, but I'm wearing it to a Renaissance Festival and don't want to be tripping over it or intentionally getting it all muddy.Overall, the quality is what I expected for what I paid. The material is nice and thick which will be nice since we are going to a Ren Fest in the fall and it might be pretty chilly.

It did run a little bit small but all in all worked for what I needed it for Halloween costume . Material is well put together, especially for the price. The colors are great material is to be expected for a Halloween costume for me. It was just the right thickness.

This dress did not fit me. It was a size too small and I ordered according to the charts. I was unable to wear it, so I'm sending it back. Otherwise, the quality is good the sleeves were long as shown, and for me it touched the floor in front so it was long enough.

This is a great period/era dress costume. The fabric is soft, has a little stretch, and drapes nicely. It is so comfortable. I ordered a size up... M. I am 5'5 125lbs.

So, I bought this dress (in size Small) for a costume party... It's absolutely gorgeous and a GREAT price!! I checked out all the reviews and looked at all the pics other people posted and I was totally sold.Let's start with the positives. It's VERY comfy. It's super long (which I love). It's absolutely FREAKING adorable!! It's got a good weight, which I actually prefer. It arrived in great timing which I'm thankful for.The negative... There is only ONE issue I have with this dress... If you have the chest of a 14 year old boy... It's gonna need to be fixed at the top. HAHA! Oi. I have a really small chest so it gaped A LOT (as seen in the pic). The second pic is just pinned but once I actually sew it, it'll look exactly like that and it'll be perfect but it's definitely gonna need some alterations if you have a smaller chest.Anyways... I LOVE this dress and I don't regret buying it. I DEFINITELY recommend the dress to anyone who wants a Renaissance style dress for a good price!!
