MUJINotebook A5 5mm-grid 30sheets - Pack of 5books

I bought a few different notebooks to try and find the perfect balance between paper quality, size, weight, durability, and grid darkness. While some of the other notebooks I bought had a nicer binding or a sturdier cover, these are the ones that came out as a clear winner.I wanted to be able to fill one or two notebooks per class and have them small enough to comfortably carry all day. These have very few pages, but once I finish one, I can leave it at home while I start to fill another.The darkness of the grid is just perfect, it's easily visible, but it doesn't overpower my notes. I use a mechanical pencil, and a dark grid makes my notes unreadable.My courses are IT related, and so the physical size is also perfect for me to use in front of my computer. I can push my keyboard forward slightly, and have plenty of room to both take notes and use the keyboard.

Attractive, sturdy, handy notebooks. I use them to sketch and take notes for projects at school and work (I am a computer programmer). I usually use basic, black Pilot pens. There is slight shadowing through the paper, but it doesn't affect readability at all. (Much superior to the Moleskin I was using before I got these; it was flimsy, and the pages were very translucent.) For my purposes, the size is convenient. I don't use them for regular note-taking in lectures or when doing assigned reading because I take vast amounts of notes and I would probably fill two or three of these in one course. But for less extensive note-taking and sketching, these are absolutely fantastic!

I've been using these Muji notebooks as journals for years. They are neat, unassuming and easy to carry around because of their size. I like the graph paper as opposed to lines or blank pages (you can write however big or small you want, keep it straight, make lists and charts easily). It takes about 3 months for me to fill each one while writing on a regular basis. Having 2+ years of writing stack up in these identical books is very satisfying. Highly recommend!

Didn’t notice when i ordered that these do not have punched holes to fit in the three-ring binder by the same company. Alas.

Muji books come in different sizes, so I should not have been so alarmed when these came in a little smaller than expected. My fault though- definitely check the dimensions before buying so that you do not make the same mistake. These are perfect for bullet journalling as they are a good, portable size, have tons of versatility, and are of great, lasting quality. The paper is a nice weight and I have yet to use anything that has caused bleeding. These are also good for class notes, though I would recommend going for a larger size for math classes. Although this is nearly twice the price as in store, they are still a great deal and can thus avoid a long trip.

I used these for notes. Loved having multiple copies to keep things consistent. Pages have a nice feel to it as well, not just like any other standard notebook.

I use these for my math class notes and typically go through 2 per quarter. They are a great size for the tiny auditorium desks in my large lectures. I like using very fine pens, so my ink does not bleed through very much, unless I fall asleep with my pen in one spot. I write on both sides of each page and the graph lines are the perfect intensity, easy to see but not overwhelming. If you like something a bit bigger, I recommend the B5 size which is larger but still smaller than a typical notebook. aesthetically pleasing and functional, a personal favorite

They're cute notebooks. I don't know what I really expected with 30 sheets of paper in each one, so they're VERY thing. I use Muji's 0.38 gel pens for these notebooks, and they don't bleed through the pages. They paper a off white, and not bright or anything. I really like the notebooks though, and I use them for random notes and planning nearly everyday. So far they hold up well. They don't lay flat, which would have been nice, but it isn't that big of a deal. If you want a little notebook with a minimalistic design, this is the one for you.
