Challenge coins are a tradition in the military and among certain branches of government service. I ordered this coin as a novelty to trade with friends. We have a number of these, some that correspond to our own military or government backgrounds, and many traded among ourselves as friends and family.This coin sized large, and it is beautifully struck, colored, and crafted. It is a CIA coin, but it may be ordered and traded by anyone, so it does not imply any service or affiliation with the CIA. It is an excellent conversation piece. This makes a nice gift for any collector of challenge coins.
