Product came with some pieces not attached had to put back together

Love my Mercato pasta maker. Been waiting for this attachment and not disappointed. Easy, perfect noodles the first time.

Ordered this twice from the same company, they sent me defective products twice! BEWARE that if you buy this product it’s coming from Germany. It says Amazon Germany. In order to return it it will cost over $100 shipping. Will never buy from overseas again in this. Amazon was fair with me, although I’m just giving buyers a heads up for this product.

The attachment wasn't even properly assembled on arrival! One of the shaft was out of place and I could hear screws rattle inside the casing, despite the fact that it was a new unit sold by Amazon. I was lucky that I had screwdrivers handy and the construction of the attachment was simple enough to be taken apart and reassembled at home.Once the attachment was properly aassembled, the pasta shaped by it are cleanly cut and uniform in size and shape when the dough is in the recommended hardness/dryness and thickness while being generously dusted with flour.The stainless steel casing is thick and sturdy, the attachment could not be washed in water (well expected for most metal pasta machines and attachments) but passing a small dough through the attachment for several times is enough to clean it.

Works like a charm!

When I received this purchase the last thing I expected was to see a box that looked liked it was fresh from Vietnam or some war. Usually I don't judge by presentation but this failed to meet basic presentation standards which I don't know how you can mess up. If it was just that I would rate this a 4 but I had to receive it partially dissassembled. It was a pain to assemble it, let a lone that fact that I had to chase out a cat and cook food at the same time. Thankfully it actually works after putting it together, but what if an elderly person received what I received? I am a young guy and play a lot of competetive video games so my finger dexterity is through the roof but for someone whose been walking and talking on Earth for 70, 80, 90 years this would be absolutely devistating. As such my final score is a 2 out of 5. I believe in giving feed back in these so here is what I have to say. First of all, make sure what you send to your customer is in prestine condition. Second of all, actually bother to make your presentation box look nice physically, the pictures on the box don't have to be nice, and if they were ugly but the box was fine I would be OK with it.
