Great for the price
So far so good. I have no doubts that the capacity and life of this battery won't be the same as a name brand battery, but for the price it starts and runs my scooter/motorcycle consistently so I'm quite satisfied. For the price, I can replace this numerous times for the price of the name brand ones. As long as I don't get stranded somewhere... will update if/when it causes trouble

Perfect fit for Westinghouse Wgen 9500 generator.
This battery is a perfect replacement for the Westinghouse WGen 9500 generator battery. It is the exact same size as the original battery. It came charged at 12.5 volts. I put my trickle charger on the new battery and charged it for about 30 minutes. The battery voltage went up to 13.4 volts. I installed the new battery and am ready for any power failures, if they happen. I started the generator with no problem.I left the battery disconnect cable disconnected to prevent any parasitic current leakage to occur during storage of generator. REMEMBER to connect the battery cable to the battery when the generator is needed to operate.

Bad 1st impression
Arrived and looks good. Easy to install perfect match for original. Go to start and barely engages starter. Put on my small charger and let sit for an hour. No change. Put on my larger car charger (very short time) but still no change. Jumped with my lithium jump starter and engine turned over faster than I'd ever heard. Put on my Yuasa tender overnight - 24 hours later worked normally. Moved my tender to my other bike and sat a week. Same (dead) Used lithium jump starter, fired up and drove for over an hour (hoping alternator would recharge in that time which seems totally reasonable) Did not - had to bump start. Drove home, put on tender overnight and once again started normally. Left on tender for 2 weeks went to start and totally dead (even on tender) Put old Yuasa battery back in and opened RMA case with Chrome. Took several emails to get a response and was disappointed I need to pay $8.40 to return the day 1 defective battery to them. I will update the review once I see how support and presumably the replacement battery works out. 8.26.23

BUY THIS BATTERY AND GET LEFT IN A LURCH!
DO NOT BUY THIS BATTERY!! I bought one for my Honda generator in February, 2025. I also bought a trickle charger to keep the battery charged up. Around July 1, 2025 I needed the receptacle the charger was plugged into to power something else. The trickle charger didn't get plugged in again for about two months. Then, on September 1, 2025 I needed to use the generator. There wasn't even a click. It wouldn't crank over because the battery was stone-cold dead. I checked the battery with a voltmeter and it showed les than a volt. Even after six hours of charging with a six-amp charger the battery showed only 8.64 volts. And as soon as the charger was removed, the voltage began a rapid decline. So beware, this battery is junk!!In my business I use many 12v7-9Ahr each year. I've never had one go dead in just two months.

Good so far.
I imagine that like most of you reading this review, I'm looking for a less expensive alternative to the name-brand batteries, and understanding you might be giving up some strengths for cost, yet still hoping for long term service. It was well packaged in it's own Chrome box, which was inserted in an Amazon box. The battery was enclosed in a plastic ziplock style bag. It was seated and topped in styrofoam and there weren't any signs of leaks or damage. The battery itself only has the Chrome brand info sticker on it. Other than the brand sticker there aren't any safety stickers, CCA stickers etc. Basically nothing that I would think would/should be a requirement, at least for future reference when it's time to replace it. The battery's encasement is smooth plastic that feels rather thin, though I can't confirm what's behind the plastic. The terminals are metal tabs, not lead or zinc. None of this means the battery is less quality, only more inexpensively built which may or may not affect it's life. Only time will tell. The battery tested at 12.83 volts out of the box, but since it was late in the day I put it on a battery tender overnight. The next morning it registered 13.12 volts. I then put a battery tester on it and it passed everything, no problems.Installation into my 2014 Kawasaki Nomad was relatively simple. It fit into the battery box perfectly. The battery came with it's own bolts and nuts. The nuts provided are thick, making it easier to insert the bolts through the battery cable and into the terminal. There's a convenient "stop" that will prevent the nut from sliding too far under the terminal but there isn't one to keep it in from the outside, so you have to be careful not to tilt the battery until you get the bolt inserted or the nut will slide out. Some double-sided tape will hold them in place. My bike turned over and started quickly and there have been no problems starting it since after several rides with start-stop sequences. So here's my initial impression: It's a battery that works great right now. Not unexpected is that it doesn't feel as high a quality as the two name brands that preceded it. (My OEM lasted 5-1/2 years and it's name-brand replacement was another 5 years.) But then, it's about half the cost and cost-cutting is to be expected in some areas. The 18 month warranty and having a US based provider is definitely a plus, but only if they stand behind their product should a problem develop. (The battery says it was made in Thailand.) The Texas heat in next year's summer will be the true test. I ride a lot of miles and use a battery tender if I anticipate that I won't using the bike for awhile, meaning the battery won't be sitting for long periods discharging.Right now I'm giving it 4 stars, deducting for the lack of sticker information on the battery itself and for the seemingly obvious areas they cut back on. I'll try to remember to give updates which may cause my rating to go up or down. As of right now, I'm very pleased.

Road King ready!
Good fit in my 2015 Road King. Arrived fully charged and ready to go. Fired up my bike with no problem. As far as longevity, only time will tell. I’ll update down the road if I have any issues. So far I’m completely satisfied.

Way cheaper than stores and it works
Bought for around $30 for a 2010 Ninja250 I was selling and it works great! Cheapest battery in stores was $90! Very good value for your money on this one!
