Before using, I like it so far, light, flat, packable
I received and opened—nice unit. Packed stove is very flat and light. I tried putting together and it seems you need an extra pair of hands to help position things, so I gave up and packed it away because I was busy. So the design is nice but requires a bit of maneuvering, so would not recommend for a young child or an elderly adult. I plan to use for teaching my kiddo survival skills (that I also need to learn myself). And I will is for a fun outing to make s’mores or hot chocolate or both. At some point I will do a little outdoor cooking activity combined with another fun activity in the great outdoors (AKA local state park—ha ha). I’m only willing to camp on the west coast, however.

Excellent product
It's very lightweight, easy to set up, and it boils water in a mmater of a few minutes because of the consentrated heat towards the top. Standard in my backpack now on occasions where I would otherwise have lit a small fire.

Sturdy and lightweight. Sharp edges!
It's very sturdy and weighs practically nothing. It was a little difficult to put together the first time. Be warned, the edges can be sharp. I cut my finger the first time I assembled this. Use gloves or just be very careful.

I LOVE THIS STOVE
We were original backers of the emberlit stove, and ordered this after we left it behind somewhere. This one is light as a feather. It assembles quickly, and somehow manages not to accumulate soot.Having this means not having to haul gas cans around. Fuel is abundant everywhere. Boils water rapidly.Temperature control while cooking is a bit of a learning curve; the trick is to get a smaller fire started with twigs, then put in a thick branch and get it going until it glows. Then, just feed or remove twigs to bring the temp from 'simmer' to 'boil' and back. The only downside is that of every open fire method, soot- your cookpots won't stay pretty. Also, carry a good firestarter-like a cotton ball soaked in vaseline-if you expect heavy rain or damp.

Lightweight, simple, elegant design.
I believe the Germans have done it again with this simple, lightweight, elegant little stove that can use alcohol or wood chips as fuel. Truly a survival stove.

Exactly what you expect!
I've seen many different brands for a "Bio Fuel" stoves like this. The prices are generally the same, so it's hard to go wrong regardless with this type of stove.I specifically chose this stove for the brand. Had relatively satisfied experience with the company, and this is a great example of quality in my opinion. So far, I've had a handful of fires using the stove, and after learning the first couple times, the third went pretty smooth. Also, this IS actually titanium, and not an alloy. This stove is not meant for extended fires to keep warm. After about 3 hours of feeding the flames, it has a hard time staying lit without any wind because the air holes get blocked off.HELPFUL TIP: Don't be like me, and try to start the fire inside the stove. It's a pain if you don't have dry wood or good tender. Find a piece of bark, or flat Rock, and start your fire there first. Then you can simply put the stove on top of it all with more wood or your choice of fuel.THINGS I DONT LIKE: Because it's titanium, it will be hard to drill holes and/or make any changes to fit your needs.I wish they supplied more accessories with the kit. Something like extended cross members so you can have a larger cooking pot to work with.As a whole, I am very happy with this product. I am expecting to make some modifications for MY personal needs.

Pay attention to dimensions.
Haven't used this yet, but I should have paid attention to the dimensions. It is the size of a toy. Not sure if it can hold enough kindling to cook something. I can't say it was worth $40.

PERFECT
Just took this little stove camping for three days in the rain. Little stove was easy to use and kept water boiled and coffee flowing. Not one issue at all. Highly recommend.
