DAXSuper Light Pomade, 14 Ounce

This hair grease is the bomb. I love it. I have 3C fine type natural wavy/curly hair. I first spritz my hair with water, than put a hair lotion in it then a thin layer of the grease on my ends, edges and along the shaft of my hair. It leaves my hair so detangled, moisturized for days, shiny with a light hold. I would not call it a pomade, it is a light oil moisturizer or grease. I love it. It is the only grease I have ever loved on my hair. It is not greasy to me and does not just sit on your hair. It absorbs in your hair. It has stopped my hair from breaking off. I really hope they never discontinue this grease. I buy lots of jars just in case I can't find it or it discontinues. This is a good price for this size.

This was exactly what I was looking for. A light, but strong, oil based pomade that has good hold, great shine, and mold-ability all day long.If you get your hair messed up at all, just run a comb through this stuff and it goes right back to where you want it to go.I use it for a greaser type look, not really a big tall pomp, but more of a side part/slick back style.The stuff works great and its a great value for 14 oz of pomade.

Very decent alternative to Groom & Clean, and much less $ for the volume. Similar hold too, just a bit oilier. Also, it smells like jellybeans... which is not really a bad thing but interesting to say the very least. Very high shine though! It's more like perpetual water in your hair, so for the best vintage look, feel, and bounce I'd recommend Murray's Hair Glo. Though the benefit with this is that it's not as picky, and will look about the same any day you apply it. Compared to Hair Glo, that will look better every day you use it, but generally doesn't look as good or go in as easy the first day.UPDATE: I've been using this lately due to Murray's Hair Glo being a tad too sticky for the summer, and this stuff is great for hot weather. Bumped it to 5 stars because of its versatility. Also, this is very different from the vegetable oils pomade. This doesn't dictate your hair like that one does. Build up is super clean, and has superb performance.

After spending a fortune on fancy leave-in conditioners and hair creams/gels/lotions/potions and getting nothing but a headache from the strong scents, I decided to use this good old-fashioned tried and true Dax. I was trying to get away from the stigmatized "grease", but sometimes you just have to come back to what you know. I just wish the manufacturer had a more secure seal for this product; hard to know if someone may have opened it.

Second product consistently used in my daily hair care. Mix 2 parts light blue Dax with 4 parts Liv and 2 tablespoons Jamaican castor oil.

És un producto que he usado des de pequeña y nunca falla. Ahora lo pido por amazon y es igual al que compro en tiendas especializadas. Hidrata mucho el pelo y ayuda a evitar que se rompa. Recomendable.

This pomade/grease is light! I have very fine, thin type 4 afro hair which breaks easily. I wanted to return to a simple water+cream+grease routine as I'd seen some people on youtube had quite good results with it but I was weary of clogging my scalp or weighing my hair down with heavy oil/grease (and thus needing harsher shampoo to wash it out).I found this Dax pomade in my local hair shop. It's really good, albeit quite greasy on the hands, but it melts quickly and leaves only a light coating of oil/grease on the hair after styling. Ive also used it as a midweek 'refresher' and I feel that it conditions or smooths my hair down pretty well. My feeling is that this is a much lighter product than those other Dax versions that are frequently recommended on Youtube. The ingredients are not frightening or off-putting either, which is a plus.Also, please don't forget - this is a grease/pomade and should be only be used after moisturising (water + lotion/cream etc) so that it doesn't end up sealing in dry hair. If you remember that one rule, you'll love this product!

Die Pomade ist wirklich super.Sie ist sehr weich und lässt sich da durch schnell und einfach in den Händen und im Haar verteilen. Im Haar hat sie trotzdem einen guten Halt und verläuft nicht bei höheren Temperaturen oder auch bei Schweiß. Der Glanz ist sehr dezent. Der Geruch ist etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, verfliegt aber recht schnell und ist nicht mehr present.Auswaschen lässt sich die Pomade sehr gut, ich habe sie bereits nach dem ersten waschen ohne größere Reste aus dem Haar bekommen.Positiver Nebeneffekt ist, dass mein Haar sich etwas weicher anfühlt und einen leichten Glanz behält ohne nach dem Waschen fertig zu sein. Die Menge reicht denk ich mehrere Monate.

pomade très bonne, elle nourie a la perfection le cuir chevelu ainsi que les cheveux...il ne faut pas trop en mettre sur les mains bien sur si non c'est assé gras pour la lever par la suite ...marque que je decouvre et qui je pense va devenir habituelle ainsi que certains autres produits de la marque .
