Works well with Mac and external monitor
I used this for my Mac Pro to extend my display to an external monitor, this worked very well and did not buy an expensive apple device, rather spent one tenth of the cost to solve the purpose.

It works well but if you use a wireless mouse it kinda lags connection and it works for my yoga Lenovo laptop

Old VGA Monitor has new life as 2nd Monitor
Bought a new MacMini and 32" monitor for my home office and found that it supports dual monitors. So with this adapter, my old VGA 26" now serves as a 2nd monitor. I keep my email on the second one, freeing up space on my main one for work in progress.

Didn't work and Not "Belkin"
When I ordered, I thought it was a Belkin USB device, but after it arrived, I realized it's a "Belin", so it's just another company trying to trick people with a name similar to better know products in the same category. Despite not being Belkin, I figured it would be hard to mess up a USB device, but they did... my computer recognizes a USB-C device but says there is an issue with it and can't connect with it. So, back it goes...

Worked but I didn't need it after all
I looked at several different adapters before purchasing this one to assist with a Mac monitor set up. It worked fine, but I ended up not needing it so it was returned. Quality and hook up was fine. Would buy again if needed.
