Poor quality for the price.

Got this cord to replace the irritatingly heavy and thick coiled stock cord on my sennheiser hd380 pro headphones. 3 meters is quite a bit more length than i need 90% of the time which can be a bit of a nuisance. The construction of this is top notch though, the 1/4 inch plug feels sturdy and well machined out of metal leading to a jice braided cord. So far its been about 6 months and shows no signs of wear. This cord is a great upgrade not just a replacement

Nice quality cable. A good upgrade from the 380's stock cable. The extra length is super nice. Much easier to use when tracking.

I had a frayed cord on my 380's for years then fixed it with this cable in 5 seconds. Watch a YouTube video for guidance on how to remove, but you just "push down" and it slides out. Good length and no more coils on your desktop if you don't like them.

They lasted 6 months. No sound from the left.

When I first received this cord, I was optimistic that it would be a perfect replacement, being angled like it is. However, my original had 3 separators on the male connector (4 contacts on the shaft), but this only had 2 separators; consequentially, when I would move my head, I would intermittently lose one channel. Annoyed, I finally borrowed a tiny clean silicone washer from one of my e-cig rebuild kits, slipped it over the shaft of the male contact, and it works perfectly, even when I invariably snag the very long cord on a pillow, or elbow! It has been about a year, and so far the result has been flawless. I'm actually happy without the inline volume control-the original would get scratchy. Now it's time for new foam cups/pads!4 stars, only because of the need for the silicone washer.
