Great little camping stove.
The media could not be loaded. Perfect little camping stove. If it’s well inside the container and inside the set up, I have. It cools down quickly. The only issue is how delicate the handle self ignite is.

Certainly at the top of the best
We purchased our first Snow Peak Gigapower stove more than twenty years ago and have used it thousands of times. It has never had one hiccup and has been 100% dependable and reliable. We wanted the newer version 2 for its lighter weight and it’s ability to modulate the flame lower. This newer version is very impressive and the low price is just super. I’ve done research for this stove vs other top brands and many who have both insist the Snow Peak Gigapower is superior, more stable and more durable. It is one of the shorter stoves which makes it more stable unlike others that are comically tall. This stove fits in my Toaks 650 ultralight mug with small fuel canister over it and a mini Bic lighter on top and the lid will still fully close. I much prefer a Bic lighter to any piezo lighter. I’ve found none of them last. So this manual ignition is preferable for my use. Snow Peak offers a plate shaped windscreen that will support a strip of titanium foil for a very efficient windscreen that fits the 650ml mug inside but will not fit a larger diameter pot. I like to keep everything compact in the pack so girlfriend brings her 650 mug and I do hers first. We both need a mug to drink or eat from so this way no extra pot is necessary, less weight and bulk.We make mostly hot beverages, broths and soups in the cooler outdoor weather multiple times a day and this stove has never let us down. It’s very easy to recommend this one.

A light, little dynamo!
If you've been backpacking as long as I have, you remember the Svea or Primus brass stoves that used Coleman fuel. Lighting them was always an adventure and cooking more so. Then came Coleman Peak 1. So nice but very heavy. I bought my first Snow Peak for a trip to the Brook's Range in 2008. The stove weighs around 3 oz. The Gigafuel canister is the base. It lights instantly and the flame is infinitely adjustable. No more carrying fuel that can spill. It is a great stove. The one downside is the environmental waste from the fuel cans. It's a concern. You can't refill them. Coleman fuel poses the same problem though with the empty 1 gallon cans.
