Great Fermenting jars
I bought these jars to try and make sauerkraut. The large capacity really makes it easy to make a lot of sauerkraut, and have room for brining liquid to cover the kraut. I was able put 4 lbs of shredded cabbage into each jar. As you can see in the 1st two photos there is ample space for the cabbage as well as having room for brine. The airlocks worked great and the two batches I made didn't get any type of mold. Can't wait to try and make pickles!

Great value for money
At first I thought it’s too expensive. But the jars are great quality and comes with great customer support. Probably best pickling jars on the market.

Amazing attention to detail and packaging. Everything you need all in one kit to ferment!
Have been fermenting a number of years, and this is the BEST fermenting jar I've seen!High quality, heavy glass and lid much like the Fido jars Pickl-It used to sell with the drilled hole in the glass lid. Even better, the gasket is silicon instead of rubber that can dry out over time, with an attached plug, and a spare in case you lose it!Lid fits snugly so no air seems to be able to get in like some jars this style does.Packaging was IMPECCABLE! Dense foam designed specifically to these particular pieces to fit snugly. Husband dropped the box on the cement driveway, but you'd never know it, not even 1 piece out of place, let alone damaged or broken. There was silicon nubs at the ends of the wire bales to prevent damage, which I saved to keep in place, it just looks that much more upscale. They slip on and off easily for cleaning. Just don't put the bales in the dishwasher, as they're probably nickle coated which will tarnish and rust if you do. Typical of all bales I've seen on jars like this. They come off easily enough, just tough putting back on. Do a search on YouTube for how to adjust a Fido jar lid for the how-to.You can't go wrong with these kits, everything is top-notch, including the glass weights, and I've had many different ones! One review here stated the weights didn't keep food from floating. That's applicable for ALL glass weights. Easily handled by placing a couple cabbage leaves on top of foods after filling with the salt brine. Place the glass weight on top of the cabbage ensuring the food remains below the brine, close the lid, put the airlock on filled as required, and you're golden!

Good customer service, excellent packaging
Bottles came in an excellently packed box. Somehow after only cleaning the mars with soap and water I noticed a crack in the jar (they did not sustain any shock that should have cracked the jar since I had opened them). I contacted customer service and they said they’d send one out right away. A few weeks later I had to remind them again. After remind them they responded immediately, and the jars arrived two days after that. They gave me a free new jar for the hassle. Pretty good way to keep a customer happy in my opinion. The jars themselves work great so far. I’ve done a few ferments (kimchi and pickles) both using the air lock and the plug seals. Jars seal tight, but I have noticed the fridge does still tend to smell like kimchi. Though I’d call it relatively faint. Overall, very satisfied with both the product, and the customer service. Can’t give it five stars, because they did seem to forget to send me one after saying they would, but it was remedied so fast that I feel confident in 4 stars.

Very sizable jars for a good price
These are very nice jars. Larger than expected. I really need to check measurements before ordering, but I will use them. I'm told not necessary to make sauerkraut, but I will keep them as they are very nice for the price. They were expertly packaged.

Great product
This is a great product. It’s easy to use and works well. This is my second purchase. As the manufacturer warns they are more fragile than canning jars so a little more care is advisable. Good value. Easy to clean

Great idea with a flaw
I do a fair amount of fermenting and when I saw these I was intrigued but there is a flaw. The hole where the airlick goes is unfinished and cuts the rubber grommet as shown in picture.I have purchased several as well as replacement grommets (which are expensive) amd have had simular problen.Ditching these and going back to traditional fermenting. PotentiLly an easy fix by sanding and finishing the edges around the hole, my try that myself and see if it helpsA potentially great product but needs to be usable for more than 2 batches

Worthwhile for safe lactofermenting
I enjoy lacto fermenting, hot sauce. I was trying to use the burping technique with a pickling jar, but inadvertently would get Kahm yeast. Although it is safe to consume, yeast changes the flavor dramatically. This jar was very simple to use and with the ability to have gas exchange without oxygen going in, I had no contamination. I am very pleased with how my hot sauce turned out and look forward to pickling or lactofermenting other vegetables. It cleaned easily, and there was no smell.
