Not for a full size bed. Strap is too short.
For an RV sized cot or chair. Cumbersome to attach. The strap and cushion are sewn together strap-cushion-strap. So you wrap the cushion around the person, (the strap fits through a hole in one end of the cushion) then continue with the strap under the mattress and link to the other strap (it buckles together). To get the person out of the strap, you'll likely have to pull one of the straps out from under the mattress. Well made. Durable. A better design would have one strap around the mattress (sewn to the back of the cushion) and a strap with buckle to close the cushion. I like it but it has limited use.

Good idea, bad design
I'm 70ish and have problems acting out dreams and falling out of bed, injuring myself. (Otherwise, I'm fully functional.) Conceptually, I believe this product would help keep me from falling to the floor, while still allowing me some comfortable movement to turn over or reposition as I sleep. However, the strap is too short. Seems to be made for a single bed. Also, the design is flawed; the connectors are positioned under the mattress which makes it difficult to use. More importantly, it is dangerous because it would be hard to get out in case of a FIRE. Also, if you need to get up to pee, it's nearly impossible to release the clips under the mattress by yourself. The clips should be close to the person for ease of use (which may not be ideal for dementia patients), and there should be options for larger beds.

Life Saver
In a case where one ABSOLUTELY cannot turn your back on your patient for an instant without the chance that they will drop out of the bed or the wheel chair and injure themselves terribly, this is a life saver. While it takes a few moments to get around the patient initially, it is safe, secure, soft, and will give you those important minutes to start laundry, fetch a meal, and do all those other things your patient needs with the peace of mind that they are safe. MINDER: If attaching to some moveable object (like a hospital bed that can rise up via a motorized control) make sure that the strap is attacked to the portion that moves with the patient.

Great thing for neurological patients
That literally saves lives. We’d tried safety rails and bed alarms. They either don’t work or work too late, when a person has already fallen off the bed. This the only thing I found actually preventing a young person who is quite strong but cannot walk without assistance from falling.

Something Is Not Working Properly
The person for whom this is supposed to protect is NOT protected. The strap easily becomes loose leaving him at risk of falling out of bed. I would not recommend this product.

NOW WE CAN SLEEP
My mother has advanced dementia with numerous behavioral problems. She attempts to get up at all hours of the night. She will immediately fall and injure herself. This is saving our lives and hers. She still screams at the top of her lungs at 4 am but at least we don't need a rescue crew and stitches now. I also use this belt when she is in her recliner. We got a harness for her for the wheelchair too. She is safe and we are more at ease.
