The most complete, compact and quality watercolor travel kit out there for this amazing low price! The only thing I added is a mechanical pencil and a piece of paper-towel for blotting the waterbrush. There is also room for a waterproof ink pen if you like doing line and wash.This is perfect for impromptu outdoor watercolor sketches or a more serious plein air day out. I like the non-bulky adjustable strap on the bag and I can wear it cross-body under my jacket. The bag is made of rugged backpack type material, and has outside and inside pockets.The sketchbook watercolor paper is fairly decent and acid free, at 110 lbs allowing a generous 48 pages, at 3.5" x 5.5" and what looks like a cold press, double sided surface. There's a perfect size little spray bottle and a magnetic clip. I chose the kit with the mirrored metal palette, and the magnetic clip holds it in place securely on my sketchbook.There is a collapsible metal cup, nice to have, but I don't know if I will use it much. I prefer water brushes for on the go, but it's nice to have the cup if you want to add a collapsible travel brush to your kit. There's room.The slim shiny metal palette is my favorite part of my kit. It's packed with 25 different colors of watercolor paint for any subject you might want to paint. I don't know the quality of the paints, but I plan to use up what's included and replenish with my own favorites. The palette lid has a non-staining ceramic mixing area, which is what really sold me on the kit. Very thoughtful of whomever designed it!I noticed some said that the bag had sloppy stitching, but my stitching looks perfect, well made with obvious attention to detail.Another person complained that they couldn't unscrew the water brush to fill it and they broke it while trying. This one has reversed threads, so all you probably need to do is unscrew it in the opposite direction to easily open it. Water brush thread directions are known to vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. Frustrating but true, so I always try both directions.

This is a truly fabulous product for watercolor art!! Especially when traveling or for plein aire. The pigments are quite fine, and the traveling bag and set up for plein aire painting is clever and workable. It comes with everything you need, brush, cup, pigments, nice sized watercolor paper journal and sleek carrying bag. It even has a little pallette map to keep your colors straight. You will be very pleased with this product. Funto also has EXCELLENT customer service. Five ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The quality of this paint was far better than I expected, despite how the palette looks the paint is smooth and I used it on high quality hot press watercolor paper. Relatively easy to use on the go too, I plan on using this during my travels and love how it clips to the board and/or book! It doesn’t dry too quick and is fairly easy to mix colors. Best value for a travel palette I have ever seen!

The paint is great and the size of the kit is great. This is great for travel. However, it was a little difficult to keep the water cup from collapsing. I’ll have to look for a video for how to get that right

I purchased this product assuming I would toss the paint and use my own. This paint is lovely and highly pigmented. It’s great. I loved everything about it except the cup. It leaked. I contacted the company and they replaced the the cup with 2 different cups. The company was so responsive, and easy to contact. They got back to me quickly. Such a pleasure to deal with. Will be happy to use their products again and again. This is small and compact and contains everything you need to have a few fun days painting on the go

Fun! This little kit has everything included and it's perfect for travel. It has pockets inside and one on the outside, making room for extras, like tissues or extra travel brushes.The only drawbacks are 1, the collapsible water cup is just that - collapsible! At unexpected times. So be careful; 2, the journal that's included is 90# paper and doesn't hold up to too much water. But, hey! I just added a small pad of Hahnemuleh 140# Sugar Cane paper which fit perfectly in the outside pocket.Being a collector/accumulator of travel palettes, I can happily recommend this one!

I wanted to try one of the Funto paint sets, so I chose this one as it seemed the most versatile. I travel internationally frequently,and am always looking for small portable art supplies that don't take up much space and don't weigh a lot. This concept is perfect for my needs. It's economical, small, and lightweight. There's nothing precious in the set, so I won't be upset if I lose something. Great set for nature journaling and travel; wide range of colors, well thought out with compact paint set, magnet clamp to hold it on the journal that's included, water brush and collapsible water container. Nice job!
