Colour blends well
These watercolor tubes deliver vibrant, blendable colors with smooth application. The pigments are rich, and a little goes a long way, making them perfect for both beginners and experienced artists. Great for achieving delicate washes and bold, intense hues.

Fantastic
(Please read the edit at the end if you really care about painting. I added it after further use)I've always been a bit nervous about watercolours, having not really done much with them since my GCSEs- and even then only a brief tonal study. After years of using acrylics and various mixed media I decide it was time to try my hand.I'm not a landscape and still life type of guy; I prefer comic book style art and that's what I decide to try with these first.I am so far very happy. The colours are lovely and smooth and so far I haven't had any issues.I assume at the price that these are student grade (premium is not a protected term and can be used relative to anything so I didn't let that fool me) but I can't complain about the quality. I haven't had professional grade to compare, admittedly, but these seem far better quality altogethr than my acrylics. I know that's not a fair comparison but it's all I have. They seem really good to me.I am totally happy with this purchase and I may even buy some more.I have uploaded my first try with them, though it needs a few finishing touches. The light isn't good and neither is my phone's camera but I hope you get an idea of what they are like.Edit: After a few weeks I want to add that I no longer think these paints are fantastic. They were a fun first try and they definitely worth the price I paid but after doing more elaborate paintings- things from nature, etc- I don't think they are very good anymore. I have since bought some basic student quality paints and they are far, far better than these.Which means these are less than student grade. Now for a bit of fun, everything I said still applies, but for serious painting I don't recommend them. I don't regret buying them because they were 14 pounds and they taught a valuable lesson, but I wasted some very expensive watercolour paper to learn it.These are really a plaything rather than watercolour paint, it seems.I am leaving the rating at 5 stars because I really liked the way they looked on that first painting and they are fun to use.
